sadly she will be ruined by Hollywood and the music industry, she is already struggling when this song was written. I'm sure they where trying to coerce her into doing things she wasn't comfortable with. could be with her music, her look and even by indoctrination into very scary activities and rituals.
When she eventually blows up, people will research her catalogue and discover this masterpiece. And it is a masterpiece. At 57 yrs old and steeped in pretty much every genre of music, this song knocks me off my pins.
Grace uses her voices in different ways to express the multiple simultaneous emotions going on within the song's lyrics. Her ability to recognize the complex multiple dimensions of emotions flowing in people's hearts, minds, and souls is astonishing. Her ability to deftly articulate and invoke emotional complexity is genuine genuis.
Such amazing talent! I never buy CDs, but I went and bought this album today.lol God, please protect this beautiful young artist. Don't let her fall into the trap of drugs and partying so that she losses the beautiful light and sound that we (her fans) love soo much about her.
Had I listened to this a year ago, I would've broke down and cried so easily. Now I'm just admiring the beauty without feeling the pain. There is a tweet somewhere from Micah to the effect that he tweaked and steered it here and there but that it is basically Grace's song. I think the experienced co-writers and producers she has worked with on this and the other songs are pretty amazed at Grace's native talent and maturity; they will never have worked at this level with someone her age and likely never well again. Word came down from up high to go with whatever 13 year old Grace said, and not to interfere with her creative process, decisions and direction. That was great with her producers, because they were amazed to find Grace really knew what she was doing. They were also blown away with the wisdom of her artistic intuition. I think she has anxiety. I'm writing down a few words because I remember my situation where I suffered from anxiety in the past. I think it is a difficulty to be born as a human and experience the original emotions that they face. I write in the hope that she will overcome her anxiety and lead a happy life.

Grace has "lost" a close friend to depression, that is what her epic masterpiece "Moonlight" is about. Grace understands this malady and has often encouraged us that if we know someone who shows signs of it to reach out to them. And about this song, It's actually a prayer, Grace is asking God for His help obviously fully expecting that He will which is an uplifting message in itself. It has often been said that Grace has written several "dark" songs. My interpretation is that Grace writes both upbeat fun songs and more serious songs as well because she is very aware and connected to all things and life and people around her and the result is that she has a remarkable understanding of the human condition, for anybody, not just for her age, which makes her very well rounded and actually very smart, insightful and imaginative (creative).
