After many months of waiting for my seat rail, it has finally arrived! The new BuddyClub Seat Rail weighs in at a total of 25lbs only! Comparing this set up to the stock seat and rail, those weigh around 40-45lbs, so we were able to cut off ~15lbs from the car!

How do you like the seating position with this racing seat / bracket combo ? How tall are you? I have been following your build and I too have the gas pedal spacer as my first mod, I had it in position “B” and the gas pedal was a bit high for me, after watching your other video and switched to position “C” it is now perfect! so I am wondering how tall are you and how do you like the seating position with your current set up. Thanks for posting these video can’t wait to see what you do with your gk5 next!

As seen in the video there are many adjustments you can do in terms of seatinf position via the seat rail. In general, the seating position is lower compared to stock so it might be a challenge to look beyond the dashboard if you are not tall enough. I am 5"9 and I feel like any height shorter, I'd have trouble driving the car around hahaha

I had a question,so in the video you said you had a new cable how did you do it because when I took out the seat it had 3 cables even though I connect the seatbelt it still has an airbag light showing on the dashboard

Simply because Recaro seats are easily 2x the price of a Sparco seat. Hahaha. Yeah the stainless steel bolts are from a local hardware store.

It wasn't the smoothest sliding rail but I wouldnt say mine was very difficult. Maybe add grease on yours if you find it difficult
