Pro-tip, turn your saw 90', so a kickback hits drywall and not an expensive window.

Or at least not stand directly behind the piece being cut so it goes through the window instead of his balls.

The riving knife doesn’t prevent kickback. The toothy fixture thing you attach to it does.

Any tips on how yo rip not so straight construction lumber? The blade binds and we end up with not so straight strips 😢

Taper jig to flatten one side then flip it and run that flat side against the fence

Your blade riving knife on the picture Before you click on the video shows it is much higher than the blade. But your entire video shows a different riving knife, which is much lower. My riving knife is like the picture. It's much higher. So how do you use the push device when the riving knife is so high? The push device won't clear the riving knife.

I’m trying to rip 2x4 but 8 foot long and the blade is stopping due to tension I think.

you need support in front and rear as the wood is coming off the table saw

Tension is due to the piece being not straight

Check and make sure your fence is aligned with the saw blade! If not, that will cause binding!

Dude, you are standing behind the 2x4. If it catches and the saw throws it, it’s going to go through your body. Please stand off to the side while you do that.
