Sean, subscriber here. I enjoy your videos. I have learned a lot. I have a couple of questions for you regarding sharpening recurve blades.
    1. The Schrade from the video appears to have a V-edge. What about knives with convex blades (BRKT Fox River Recurve, for example)?
    2. Do you only recommend using diamond plates for sharpening recurved blades? What about those of us who have invested in water stones? Before watching your video I had been tempted to use the edge of my water stones on a recurved blade. Note, it is a Benchmade 162 (S30V steel) with just an ever-so-slight recurve near the ricasso and it still has the factory V-edge. What I want to do is grind the secondary V-edge out of it and make it convex. However, I guess I'm a little concerned about what that might do to some water stones.
    Thoughts?

Anthony Fister make sure the stone is fully soaked, also your going to have to pain stakingly rotate the stone so you wear all the corners down evenly, It really wears down your waterstones, that why I am using the diamond
