it is, yes, but the i stands for interlaced..
A frame of 1080i video consists of two sequential fields of 1920 horizontal and 1080 vertical pixels. The first field consists of all odd-numbered TV lines and the second all even numbered lines.
And in 1080p (progressive) the all the frames are captured at once

i think, its because of the converting..
The video has a CLEAR sharpen filter added, which not only enhances difference between pixels but there's another filter applied that enhances shapes as well, it seems you set Gaussian range too high
what software did u use to render that?
@000zeRoeXisTenZ000 I'm getting the same thing... It's great on the original view setting. I'm running my Mac at a 1680x1050 resolution. Oh well, we are streaming videos here, can't expect the best!

You're thinking of 4k video. 1080i has the same resolution as 1080p (1920x1080)

on 22" 1920x1080 looks a little blurry... doesn't have that "clear" in it... maybe, cuz my monitor isn't full hd..., but other 1080p videos looks awesome ;)

why did you film in 1080i, when your talking about definition it is = to 540p

i mean i can believe this is in resolution at 1920x1080 but youtube player is compressed and thats why i see pixels and blur in full screen

I dont know how this is HD the normal settings look better than this. i just got a "HD TV", but it looks like an old arcade game(it was even rated highest) and this monitor is supposedly HD, but nothing looks better, it just looks like the problems are blockier and everything looks so fake.

@000zeRoeXisTenZ000 RUclips videos are far more compressed than a blu ray so RUclips HD isn't as good. Just like their 480p doesn't look as good as a DVD

JVCDude, I'm not so impressed, there's WAY too much processing in your recent works. You have manipulated the images to the point of blowing out the color and loosing texture. If you're going to show nature videos, maybe you should keep them more NATURAL.
