I'm here from Steve Mould's video on popup tents. This is a great example of how the concept applies to potentially many, many things in everyday life. Though, I don't see bandsaws every day.

Seems like he got a cut on his hand from handling the mini version of the tent
I'm sure doing this with a bandsaw blade will go great ☠☠

Oh wow. I don't know what a bandsaw looks like but the instructor has amazing vibes. 10/10 would listen to him explain anything.
Also that sound of the blade unfolding is so good. OIOIOUOuououh :)

Absolutely the best Band Saw Folding techniques and demonstration of How-to-do it there is. Great job Wylde Woodworks. I knew from the start this was going to be a pro demonstration when I saw the size of the freaking blade.

my 142" blades came in more than the standard 3 loop configuration, so your last method with the 5 loops was VERY helpful--thank you

02:54 don't beartrap yourself, but your customers are fair game!
In all seriousness the 5-coil was the only one without any uncoil adviii.... (end of video) oic.

New outro: "Do you want to know how to safely unfold your 5-coil bandsaw blade? For only $19.99, you too can avoid getting bear-trapped! Don't be a statistic, act now while you still have all your fingers!
    * Offer void where prohibited. Plus $5.99 S&H. Not guaranteed to prevent bear-trapping. Having all of your fingers may be overrated."

I have 12 ft band sawmill blades I kinda use that last method except the teeth are facing up and I wip it up above my head and catch the curl when it folds in
