      im convinced the sound engineering for this skit was intentionally done at a recording engineer's level. When he does the "no no no no" beatles vocals, he's moving his head mic to mic and his voice is actually panning through the audio left and right relative to the mics.

    I’m an audio engineer for a living. This is extremely accurate. Don’t know how many times I’ve had studio Tours and they’re like this is the console that was used by Black Sabbath.
    If only the recording equipment could write a great song for you.

    This exact thing actually happens a lot in real life. Dudes with money build a fully decked out recording studio with a "Field of Dreams" mindset (if you build it, they will come). Of course nobody comes except maybe a few crap local bands, they fail miserably and sell it all within a year lol

    I like that this bit works on multiple levels. On a high level, it’s a funny exaggeration of an audio enthusiast who has gone all in on his passion.
    On a low level though, he’s referencing real world equipment and effects that are legitimately cool and are probably well respected in real world audio/music/studio communities.
    That echo chamber was clutch.
