  • In this video, I will show you how to extend the battery life of your Galaxy S20, S20 Plus and S20 Ultra even after enabling medium power savings mode. So, while saving battery, you'll be able to continue to enjoy 120Hz refresh rate with smoother animations.
    Let's dive right in.

    My trick
    1. Used optimised power mode
    2. Turn on adaptive power saving
    3. Charge to full the battery
    4. When the battery fall bellow 70% it will turned on the medium battery saving with 120hz refresh rate
    4. Turn off the adaptive power saving
    5. Your screen refresh rate will stay at 120hz and the medium battery saving still on
I tested it 3 times and it worked, not some bug issue 😊
And the battery last longer then optimised power mode (normal power mode)

Anyone randomly watching this video running android 3.0. It still works and there's no need for Bixby routines. Just open both the battery saving page and display 120hz, 60hz page. DO NOT CLOSE THEM! Now turn off battery saving, then apply 60hz. Now click on 120hz and wait with clicking on apply. Now go to the battery saving page and apply medium or whatever you want and turn battery saving on. Now go back to to the 120hz page and now click apply. DONE! Both pages need to stay open until you finished everything.

@@drakidou9232 hi so... I bought my s20 plus preowned and I checked the battery wear and its at 89%.
Yesterday I charged my phone twice whilst doing the setup and transferring all my data ( over 400gb) to the s20 plus from my note 10 plus. So the phone did get hot and battery went down pretty quick... but my note 10 plus went down faster doing the same transfer so.... ( @120hz)
      Now....
I cannot enable 120hz and medium power savings like in the video due to an update that removed the power savings option in bixby routines.
What I have done instead is left it at optimised, and adaptive power savings and watched sakitechs other video to enable 96hz refresh rate. This basically gives you the eye candy of smooth scrolling/animations and my battery is holding extremely well right now...
To put that in context... before I would notice my battery percentage deplete every minute or so.... its taken my about 3 or 4 minutes so far to type this reply om RUclips and my battery percentage is the exact same... not moved at all from 95%.
I genuinely have high hopes for my exynos s20 plus...
Btw... I ran an ice cold antutu benchmark on my exynos s20 plus and I got 57,472. Extremely close to the snapdragon model and beating it in some cpu workloads...
Okay battery at 94% now after 7 minutes of typing.
      I'm really pleased with this.
Btw my phone never gets hot at all... it may get slightly warm when using the camera for prolonged periods of time and warmer if playing 3d intensive games... I dont really game on my phone as I have a pc gaming rig and an ipad pro if I really want to play a mobile game..... wow 17 minutes into typing this edited reply and battery still at 87%.

Instead of having a manual button for the IF, make the IF based on battery level and make it below 99% battery life. Then you don't need to do a manual button that you need to turn on all the time. Same concept but more automatic.

So i did 2 days of testing with this. One with adaptive battery on and off. With my normal usages, (120hz set) on a normal day, i would go home with about 40~50%
With this settings enabled and adaptive battery enabled. I came home with, 74% i was like whaat!! Lol saves amazing battery life!
I still need to do this test with 96Hz enabled as well. I'm assuming my phone will last a good almost 2 days.
