@@WgCdrLuddite Yes they were. The 50th Infantry Division Regina was there along with the Italian Navy. If they weren't there the devs wouldn't have screenshots of Italian vehicles in the Chapter Mercury Mod.
It was actually a standard issue - the Tropen kurze Hosen. And I live in the tropics so I can really appreciate the practicality of those shorts in scorching hot weather. Hey, the Brits used shorts too - in fact, shorts were the predominant standard issue in that theatre - but nobody laughs at that :)

I'm new to the game, because when I'm in a squad and I die and I go back to the spawn screen my classes disappear and there are only 2, one with a rifle and another with a machine gun this happened a few times
There needs to be more than 3 people in your squad to unlock special classes like MG or anti tank. And it's limited, only one person can take these special kits in a squad (so only one mg, one sniper, one AT, etc)
Jokes tend to be culturally-bound so it's more relatable when you're familiar with the culture to understand the references. For example, many German idioms feature sausages, and Vade has at least once used the phrase "mit Kanonen auf Spatzen schießen" - shooting sparrows with a cannon, i.e. "cracking nuts with a sledgehammer". The latter is relatable to English-speaking people (especially Americans - nuts and sledgehammers) but the former sounds SO German in concept. Perhaps even more so if "mit PaK auf Spatzen schießen" :))

We've got used to German-speaking teams but an excitable Italian-speaking team would be brilliant !
They do plan on adding the Italians to this mod, but also to Crete as well which I am excited for!

@@jayausten5388 OK. The 50th Regina landed 28th May, eight days after the Germans, saw no combat and were there for the surrender on the 1st June.
@@WgCdrLuddite They saw minor combat with the Germans, but that seems about it. Their Navy was also there as well.
