Love your glasses too. Good for you in doing and wearing what you love. It’s true what you wear makes a difference to your mood and how you approach your work and play 😊
Looking forward to receiving mine! Only bought last week so may not have been packed by you but excited to be on a new journey. As a woman who is looking for motivation and a confidence boost (peri menopause is cruel) I’m excited to receive the journal and to help you and your thriving business! I would love your styling classes but I’m not sure I have the eye for it but I love colour and style ! X You always look fabulous and you certainly inspire. I don’t know where you find the time. You must be super organised and such a planner x
When you were wrapping the journals I got excited knowing mine was in the pile! Looking forward to receiving the journal in that lovely gold packaging ❤️. Thanks Christie!
Hi Christie, I loooove your Volgmas posts and they keep me really motivated and inspired - thank you much for that ❤❤❤❤ one questioj in todays and the 11th post you are wearing such nice pullovers/ shirts- the blue and the yellow one, could you would you tell from where you got them or which brand (or repeat the brand as I was not able to really understand the name 😅😅, although I think I understand really mostly because you talk so foreign friendly :)) Thank you so much for your work ❤😊
Christie! You were in Wisconsin this fall?!? Ugh...I could have met you. 🥺 I'm in WI. Next time? By the way, did you have a Spotted Cow here? S. Lussier
I noticed the sweet little picture of you and Sean on your mantle. Curious on your thoughts as it pertains to style within in a group setting, such as family/couples photos? Maybe this is already something you teach within Rise?
I absolutely love your style. I'd like to have a conversation about the pointy toe shoes /high heels. I'm 65, when younger, I did wear them sometimes. What my problem with them is a serious foot affliction called Mortons Neuroma. ..over 90% of women develope this due to pointy toe shoes, heals, and many runners develope this as well. I did have surgery for this in 2014, as it gets so painful, you can't walk. They grow back, which mine did, and now that means very expensive orthopedic inserts, and limited shoe choices. I feel that it's not worth it in the name of fashion trends, and compare it to modern day foot binding which was finally outlawed in China. Many women pay dearly as they age due to fashion trends. Please look up Mortons Neuroma. It's caused by either toes being squeezed together in shoes and/or runners. I also had to quit running due to this because the nerves in the bottom of feet start to bulge out, making great pain walking. ....and surgery for this involves cutting into the top of foot to cut the nerve out of the neuroma between mostly the 3rd and 4th toe on the bottom of the foot, and in my case ( very typical), if they try to remove more than one bulging nerve, one can lose at toe. I have them in both feet. .no more surgeries for me, just inserts and better shoes. Thank you for listening.
Oh my gosh. Those glasses are EVERYTHING.
