As you can probably tell, Airbnb is banking it's future on being able to book an entire vacation through their platform. From the home, to the travel, to the experiences. I sat down with a new Airbnb ""Experience"" Host, Max and discussed her thoughts on the opportunity and how to be a great Experience host. Enjoy!

My husband and I did 2 airbnb experiences in Paris a few years ago. They were both fantastic. One was a wine tasting with just the two of us, in a couple's personal apartment-which was a hidden little gem behind Notre Dame Cathedral. They were both professional sommeliers. In addition to teaching us all about French wine and the regions it came from, we also drank about 4 -6 half glasses of delicious wine and enjoyed french appetizers her husband made in the kitchen. The second one was with another couple and it was walking the backstreets of Paris. It was also great. Very personal and we were introduced to little markets and history of the areas that we would never have seen otherwise. We are going to start our own airbnb suite soon in the Yukon and have been wondering if we could offer something in the way of a northern experience.

I am planning to create a yoga experience and I know that knowing how to put it in words is very important. The first question I need to answer is imagine your guest have all arrived how would you kick off the first 10 minutes of your experience? How do I answer that?

A while back I tried making an experience hiking to the summit of my area's popular mountains but It was declined.
