Hardening was shown to be a borderline useless Quirk when kirishima was in high school, basically just making his skin durable and rubber like. But when hardening was copied Monoma used it at full strength and copied the "axe arm" technique Kirishima uses to focus in the points of his arm.

He wouldn't get all the quirks All For One the villain has collected, if that's what you're wondering.
All For One's actual quirk definition is the ability to steal quirks and/or give them to others. If Monoma actually successfully copied it, it would probably start from scratch and he would have 10 minutes to collect as many new quirks as he can. I personally think the only useful upgrade would be the give-them-to-others part, since stealing quirks is a bit redundant due to his Copy. Even with AFO he can't keep those quirks since his original Copy power only lets him have quirks for a limited time. Once AFO is done, so are the collected quirks. Tho I do wonder if quirks given out to people would disappear when time is up as well.
I also wonder if Monoma could even wield the newly collected quirks. My guess is probably some yes, some no, since he explained that he can copy the base ability but not the fuel, and many quirks are like that. It may also just be that nothing happens at all since All Might once explained that both AFO and OFA can only be passed if the original holder wishes it so.
      Hope that helps.

BUT would that transfer the copy-quirk itself? one for all started out as two seperate quirks, a stockpiling quirk and a transfer quirk, that combined into one. the copied quirks are only accessible one at a time, by the power of monomas quirk, even though he can hold up to four, unlike all for one, which can activate multiple quirks at a time
so if the copied one for all quirk got transfered by itself, the target would not be able to use it at all. since the copied ability activates as part of his own quirk, "copy" should be able to transfer itself via the transfer part of one for all. however the transfer takes a couple of hours, thats why bakugo never truly became a holder of one for all in the movie, since he passed out before the transfer was complete. so with monomas current time limit, he wouldnt be able to pass on anything.
however, if he copied all for one, and used it to steal another quirk, the stolen quirk should remain with him, even after the copied all for one expires.

Monoma would feel bad for him since he feels for those in less privileged positions like how he is nothing without others around him and Hitoshi was ostracized for having a "villainous power."
Maybe MHA would be more well received if they focused a bit more on the problems in their world's society and it's treatment of those who are different like they did with the very beginning of the series and when it talked about the villains. I still like the series but it could've been better had it focused on what made Deku so likeable at the start.
