I have the same camera, just take the lens covers off when you use it, I only use them for storage. Don't bother with the pro lens covers, from reviews I've seen the flare is even worse when compared to the plastic ones. I find the sound pickup on the Insta very good as well and haven't needed a lapel mic on it yet. I can also confirm it's weatherproof qualities, I've had it soaked for a week and it survived no problem. I'm with you on the overhead of editing Insta 360 clips and multiple clips from different sources, my require editing back catalogue is quite something at the moment, I'm hoping to catch up in the winter months. Overall an enjoyable take on the foibles of using the Insta 360 x4 👍. Another thumbs up for the Rakoon 2.1, a great under-rated tent, bolstered by trekking poles on the guy lines and positioned correctly it can take a battering in the wind as well.
Excellent notes - thank you so much for taking the trouble to comment so much. Reassuring that it copes okay in wet weather, even without the bobbly lens covers. Very useful advice. Thank you. Cheers, Warren :)
Obviously still lots to learn about using the Insta360 but realising that it has it's place in my gear list and won't be replacing my GoPro for mountain or bad-weather treks. Oh yes, we have a long drive ahead don't we :) Cheers, Warren :)

Always something new with Warren the custard king. Don't think I've seen you not eat your sweets Sir W. Pleasant overnighter mate. Bushyboy Oz.
It was nice to take an evening out in the woods and relax a bit. The custard was too much this time - it's better shared ;)
Cheers, Warren :)
Squeeky squeeky boots 😅
Oops yes, rather. I have had a squeaky rucksack recently so the boots made a change! Thanks for commenting, appreciate it. Cheers, Warren :)
