Still like to watch this one as it was my test route . I had never been on this route before so I’m pretty convinced that watching your videos was a big reason why I passed ! Thanks man
Glad to say that I passed today in Currie in my first attempt with only 2 minors on steering. Your videos played a big part. Your videos have been very helpful Angus. Thank you so much. People don't realize how accurate and informative your videos are. My driving test was in Ratho country roads today.
So glad to see you posting again. I passed with you back in January 2018, but it is very helpful for me to watch your tutorials to keep up my driving skills! My sister also says that your videos were the reason she passed, despite the fact that she had a different instructor! Keep up the amazing work!
Great to see you back with your tutorials. I passed my test on the currie route 16 months ago and ure original videos helped me as one of them filmed I think in January was EXACTLY the route I had on my test. These kind of videos definitely help people. Great work Angus. 👍🚗🚥
Thanks a lot for your videos, this was the route I was been taken, I successfully PASSED today. Big Thanks for your commentary and suggestions in the video. Your are truly inspiring helping the learning community. Thanks a lot once again. 🥰
Well done, great to hear about your success. Really glad you found the videos helpful. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. Always good to hear from people who have used the videos.
Hi Angus! Thank you for the video! When you are by the quarry, but past the national speed limit sign, what would you say is an appropriate speed to have to make sure you can stop if you see something happening ahead?
Hi, it completely depends on if there is oncoming traffic and if so how big it is. It is a very narrow section, but doesn’t last for too long. So speed wise on the day just constantly reassessing how far you can see and on that occasion are you okay to continue, or is there something you need to adjust for. So you will need to balance the speed and react and adjust if necessary. So you always want to be going at a speed that you could stop smoothly within the distance you can see. I hope that makes sense.
What's the speed limit to be maintained in country roads with national speed limit which are very narrow, lot of bends and lots of bumps. I cannot even reach anywhere near 60mph. How much should I maintain so as not to fail. I have heard conflicting opinions on it and is really confused. Is 30mph ok near a bend which is narrow and there is a bridge? (Around Dalmohoy road in Ratho).
On Gogar Bank currently yes it’s national speed limit 60mph for a car. Most of its you will be at a much lower speed however as it is very tight and winding in places. I don’t think you will be anywhere near 60mph anywhere on it.
Hello Angus, i am a bit confused here, when you passed through the first roundabout marked right, are you suppose to continue on the right till you leave the roundabout or you can go to the left lane inside the roundabout?
Hi thanks for your question, you will need to stay in the right until you have passed the first exit as you are going straight on second exit. Once you have passed the first exit you would check your mirrors and signal left. As long as it’s clear to do so at that point you can move across to the left for your exit. I hope that makes sense.
@@AngusDriving I failed in October because of Progress - Appropriate speed In Haddington country road, so i changed to currie, i hope i pass this time, I am a bit nervous when i am in country roads because of the 60mph, but on your video, you said its not compulsory that it should be 60mph
I think any route could be used, especially as due to so many people working from home traffic isn’t too busy. Remember bus lanes will be in action until 0930 so don’t drive in them. Good luck, hope it all goes well.

What test routes are most likely to be given on a week day at 8am ?
