I want to learn Irish. I tried learning it and it was too hard; I kept forgetting everything. A lot of music I play has Irish song titles (sometimes lyrics) that I'd like to be able to read. What method did you use? Did you learn it in school? Did you have a teacher? A classroom? I hope you don't mind my asking.
