One Time my dad was doing business in China. A scammer called him saying he was my dad's brother and needed money. Funny thing is, my brother was working right beside him!! My dad put the call of speaker so all his co-workers could hear the call. :)

I see so many things wrong with this comment.
1. Clickbait isn't scamming you out of anything except your time on the video. Even then, it's your fault for going on the video and watching it so the uploader get's money from you watching the video.
2. Free robux? sure that's a scam. But you'd have to be a kid to fall for that. Or just not be very bright to know it's a scam.
3. No proof of that being real or fake, so you can't say it's a scam cause you didn't win it.

Unfortunatly i got scammed earlier this year. It was an amazon phishing email and i fell for it. Thankfully i called the bank straight away and cancelled my card so nothing was taken. (They did try) it taught me a big lesson! Thats y ive been obsessed with these type of videos ever since!!

2:fake tabs
Kicking your dog scam: a skinny (likely someone ugly, too) woman approach you and kicks your dog, claiming that she hates seeing any dogs.
She works with her associates watching her nearby and she doesn't run off when you confront her, waiting for you to hit her as retaliation. With the most gentle hit, she will claim various injuries and scam compensation money off you.
If you walk away, well, your dog was kicked for free.
What if it was an actual Nigerian Prince who wants to give you money

Once I was looking at dog photos online. (Don't judge I love puppies). I found a really cute one and clicked on it. Then a thing popped up saying: your computer has a virus! Call this number for more information! My mom clicked the number and hang up. They called back. Creepiest moment of my life.
Lola Beart It was probably just an antivirus scam. Your computer most likely did not have a virus, The scammers make a tab on your screen pop up and say that you have a virus. You are then asked to pay money to get the antivirus software. But the problem is that it's not a real antivirus software so now you would have wasted money and installed a new batch of spyware.
They probably had Caller Display, so they were able to call back

When I was about 9 I was on my dad's computer and saw a "You've been randomly chosen for a Free iPad" scam (only was a questionnaire and only asked for your phone number) and I actually fell for it , but before doing it I told my mom and managed to convince her it wasn't a scam seeing as she was very wary (My 9y/o self's primary concern was getting my little grubby hands on an orange iPad 3 with 500 GB). Not even a minute after filling the questionnaire out our house phones were ringing, and I felt so disappointed to find out it was a scam after my mom answered saying it was and that we had to change our house phone number. On the bright side I learned a valuable lesson and never got grounded! :)

The ransomware one happened to my grandma in the USA. She clicked on it because they disguised as Fed Ex and scammed her. She lost pictures of her kids as little kids, and filed she needed to help families in Guatemala.

Wtf on my yt I got some on who said they a vid for me I never clicked on it but still wtf
There was one that was around here for a while in Australia which was aimed at those with less tech knowledge. Theyd be people pretending to be microsoft/the internet provider/etc and say there is an issue with your computer they need to get into it to fix. So theyd pass you details in order to install a remote access doorway and such in, then of course theyd install a keylogger and get your bank details and such.
Anyway, it was the sort of thing most of us learnt to just ignore their calls immediately, to the point of where youd just about forget they called within minutes.
Move on 6 months or so, and my dad who works in Audio/Visual for conferences was packing the gear up after one about cyber security, and got talking to one of the dudes who was there. Turns out the scammers had stopped calling a while ago (we never really noticed, because like i said before you simply forget super quick) because this guy had accepted their calls, followed their instructions, except when it came to connecting to them he passed across a virus which basically bricked the scammers' entire network.
RIP scammers, you will not be missed.

How about top ten legal scams? I'll give three examples
1) FTP games Candy Crush, Clash of Clans. For FTP MMO it's cheaper to subscribe.
2) Payday/title loans. If you like to pay 500 - 2,000 % for interest then this is for you
3) Rent to own It's cheaper to pay retail.

They told me they were moving from Ireland to the USA and needed someone to babysit their 3 year old and do their shopping and light cleaning for $500 a week. So they send you a money order and you cash it in and send them some of the money back. But it's fake so you have to pay for it all.

About the "coin" scam on car. You don't need to check passenger door. Most modern cars do have a feedback system that allows you to visually see that you car was correctly locked. To learn about the system, try the scam on your own car. First: Lock the car normally. See how the turn indicator lights blink. They usually blink 2 times. Now verify that all doors are locked (so you don't unintentinally see the error signal and think its the "right", for example if the lock has jammed due to poor lubrication, see later) . Then unlock, jam any door handle with a coin, or simply don't close it fully (best is to try both). Then lock the car again. Now the lights will usually blink in another pattern, most times a loong blink or 5 quick blinks, to tell "theres something wrong". After you learnt "your" pattern, you know what to look for and react if the pattern is not correct. This information is usually in the car manual too, but the best is actually to try it yourself so you can see with your own eyes how your car reacts to a blocked lock. This can also save you from a unlocked car for other reasons than scams too, for example if your lock is not well lubricated and jammed, you might have leaved your passenger door always unlocked without knowing it!

Disable your internet, close and reopen the browser, then shut down the page before it can load and 'lock' you in again.

The first one with your files being locked is easily fixed, Just make sure you always have a backup. Then once that happens get rid of the virus and then reload your backup onto your computer

The video thing happened to me, a few of my friends, a few of my family members, and some people from my church. Luckly, no one was stupid enough to click it, and I found it obvious when I sent my friend a message and all it sent back every time was "Look!" with a link to RUclips attacked to it. I still have a screenshot. A groupchat was just made and the simple words "Don't click the RUclips link" were posted.

Actually, the easiest way to beat out ransomware is to keep backups seperate from your computer. If you get infected by it, simply erase your entire computer and reinstall it from your backups. Lots of backup programs exist to help you.
Pretty much any online scam won't work on me because a) I have nothing of use in the computer except for a bunch of essays I have in it. b) I'm have no social life so i don't have Facebook or any of these socially interactive accounts and c) I don't trust any link of any sort unless it is verified by at least 15 people i trust.
