Great video. The 30 second overview near the beginning is a wonderful idea. The short test drive is very informative and adds outstanding value to the video. A side note on losing all the air at once. Experienced that on a new 72000 pound fire truck, an airline had been routed through the suspension so that once filled with 3000 gallons of water and 6 firefighters there was more suspension travel on bumpy roads. The air line got cut by the suspension parts, truck came to a controlled stop as the parking brakes applied as soon as the airline was cut. Good thing this as a training / familiarization trip not an emergency call.
Chris Andersen is absolutely the best Chris I hope you there because I'm retiring soon and I want to buy an RV from you I've been watching you for years and years and you're the best there is
Thank you for the indepth tour of the RV, really appreciate the shot of interior with the slides in. Only one complaint. No power reel for the 50amp power cord. Just noticed, shape of the ceiling panel has the same shape as the Newmar logo.
You do the best RV videos in the business. They are our favorite!! We really like the overall coach tour at the beginning, and we especially would like to see more driving video and instruction. We find that very valuable!! Thanks again for the great videos.
Very nice video. I especially like how you show what you have to work with when all the slides are closed. Newmar gives you the ability to negotiate the coach. Some manufacturers don't.
Don't know if I'm going to end up buying one of these RVs but your explanations are very thorough very appreciated and I'm picking up some good points which will come to use in the future
Absolutely do more driving in these videos. I kind of put these coaches into groups I can identify with. When I see this coach I think Chevy Suburban. When I see a New Aire I think GMC Yukon Denali.
Hey Chris and poor Toney, another great video with the excellent expanded comedy content! You are sure to get the RV Video Demo Emmy Award this year at this rate. The RV Emmy Academy won't be able to keep ignoring you by giving the Emmy to your NIRV female nemesis each year. How about doing another Canyon Star video of the new 2020 3710 I see in your inventory? One more request--another video of a Tiffin Open Road 34PA with footage of the slides closed inside like you started doing after your last 34PA video a couple of years back? We are still trying to decide between the two models and floorplans. Hoping Newmar soon adds the Liquid Springs factory installed suspension upgrade and Truma water heater upgrade option like Tiffin now offers.
At least with the 30 footers, you're guaranteed to get into the National Parks. Also, more driving videos. I like gaging the comforts and quietness of the drive.
I'm game if she is....I live in Indiana, she is in Texas.....but I think the Newmar dealer meeting is in Indianapolis next year, so maybe she is coming to my home town. I'm game for a collaborative effort.
Nice rig, outstanding video! I would absolutely love to see more driving videos, including the outstanding pointers that you started to provide. By the way - does this rig have a dining table/chair option instead of the booth dinette?
One of the niceties of the kountry star is that is close to 5000 lbs lighter than models up range in the Newmar line on the same floorplan. Also lacking the complex systems found on the more upscale versions, also means less time at the dealer getting these fixed. Chris and toney are the masters (even with the sd flummox). How many salesmen do the slide, in, view (few to none). Too many times have I been watching other videos and they open up a bay or door, the cameraman is just about to peek inside and the salesmen closes the door. Really all they just did was tell you that the door opens, Whoa is that a new feature, doors that open. The best one was that in 3 different video at different times of the year, with different salesmen, on the same floor plan, from the same dealership, they would go bay to bay opening up each one till they got to the last 3 on the drivers' side bays and they would end the video. AAAhhhh!! The upside is now I know where they keep all the dead bodies!! Keep up the great work guys.
The one the Country Store we'd like to see a Jenn-Air grill inside along with an oven we would like to see a distilled water machine for ice and the tap water for drinking purposes are you can pre make a hundred gallons of water before taking a trip we would like to see a concealed chamber by the countertop in the corner where would be a slow smoker that would cook it the perfect temperature and put the meat at the perfect temperature of smoking like a brisket when the chamber door opens the smoke is are medically sucked out of the chamber and nothing goes into the RV you put the meat back in it resumes the perfect heat and smoke until the meat melt-in-your-mouth tap water is not fit to drink in the United States of America in the bigger RVs we would like to see a steam room and we would like to see a deck that would slide out from under that neat the floor to the outside so people could sit on the deck outside the RV as well as a possible three to four Man portable hot tub the steam room will also hold 3 to 4 people the deck would be great for watching fireworks breeding BBQ it could be covered with an awning with the screen that hangs down around the deck
I like the test drive part of the video! I have a question that may seem strange to some people, but I'm wondering is there any certain reason that the kitchens are being placed on the door (passenger) side more and more these days? I have always liked the kitchen to be on the off door (driver) side because it gives you more viewing ability on the side that most campgrounds will have you placed towards, meaning when you're backed into a "diagonal" spot, when you look out the windows on the off door side you see the coach next to you, but on the other side where the kitchens are taking up all the room, you'll see the views that you have available at the moment. I know everyone will have a different opinion on this matter but I'm awfully curious as to why they're placing the kitchens on the door side more so than not (and I mean it's like this on 90%+ of the coaches I see) these days. Any input on my question would be greatly appreciated!! By the way I loved the video, keep up the good work!!
I understand your concerns, and at first I would have agreed with you. After spending some time with the system however, its actually keeping your hands on the wheel and your eyes forward. Any new coach is going to be similar because this is on all Freightliner chassis's going forward and Spartan and Power glide are very similar.

Driving! Great idea!

I'll be here....come see me

Thanks!
So you put it in manual control with vgt brake on to go down big hills ✅
I've been watching your videos for a bit but this one made me subscribe.. Great video, Keep up the great work!
We'll keep trying to improve them. Thanks for subscribing Cleve!
Thanks!~
Very nice video. I especially like how you show what you have to work with when all the slides are closed. Newmar gives you the ability to negotiate the coach. Some manufacturers don't.
Second choice behind Ventana 3407 !
Yes please more driving videos. There are very few in RUclips...
How is the hot water heated? (that was not discussed)...Thanks!
Very nice but I need the bed on the other side. Is the emergency egress door available?
YES! More Camera Memory, more driving videos!
Suggestion noted! Thanks for watching!
Some reviewers have mentioned the the 50amp cord is very heavy and should, no matter the brand, be on a reel.
Nice coach
As instructed, please provide more driving videos. This one was just getting interesting when the memory ran out! Awesome video!
Love the driving portion of the video!
Don't know if I'm going to end up buying one of these RVs but your explanations are very thorough very appreciated and I'm picking up some good points which will come to use in the future
Love it! You make it fun to watch as well as informative. Keep up the great work. Geek face Tony as well...
Thanks Mike!
Absolutely do more driving in these videos. I kind of put these coaches into groups I can identify with. When I see this coach I think Chevy Suburban. When I see a New Aire I think GMC Yukon Denali.
What's your point? Suburban / Denali = same truck built in the same factory with different badges.
@@buckhorncortez it's my personal observation. If you're aware of the Kountry Star and the New Aire then that comparison should be obvious.

Angie can't give a walk through because...she STILL doesn't have one. 😂
Now, that's a nice ride! I'll be looking for more,Chris and crew! Thanks!!
At least with the 30 footers, you're guaranteed to get into the National Parks. Also, more driving videos. I like gaging the comforts and quietness of the drive.
Yeah Chris Anderson is back!
I'd like to have it with armored body and no propane.
Chis, Yes love the new concept and introduction. The drives are a thing that you need to do more of. Thanks
Beautiful adding to see you drive this coach.
No TV over the cockpit?
Optional
Great review, very thorough touching on the pros and cons of a short diesel. We have a 2018 3709 LE and were anxious to see the new model for 2020
Love seeing these with the slides in...perfect demo!
Could you get closet doors without the mirrors?
Yes
Nice review looks like Newmar made pretty good use of the limited space
Pretty comprehension video. Nice unit.
Love Chris and Angie. Chris says D is for drive and Angie says R is for race. How about you two doing a video together?
I'm game if she is....I live in Indiana, she is in Texas.....but I think the Newmar dealer meeting is in Indianapolis next year, so maybe she is coming to my home town. I'm game for a collaborative effort.
They dont have the emergency exit door in the bathroom anymore ?
Optional on some floor plans
Nice rig, outstanding video! I would absolutely love to see more driving videos, including the outstanding pointers that you started to provide. By the way - does this rig have a dining table/chair option instead of the booth dinette?
Yes

Cool vid. Chris can you redo just a video of you driving the Kountry Star please?
More driving videos are coming !
Watch out for the pay back with your camera guy Chris on the phone shot!!! LOL
"Geekface Toney" will get his revenge!

Your mic sounds a little buzzy. The battery in it might be getting low.
Yea we're keeping our eyes peeled for something better. Thanks for watching!
Can you get a free standing dinette with two chairs?
Yes

Complicated dash and takes away from watching the road. Not safety compliant ?? Would not buy !
