Tape lover myself! I have been using tapes for the last decade to be able to wear 24/7 for 2-4 weeks at the time. There is a big upside to tapes as they are less messy and have consistent hold. Also, no wait time for it to cure. Especially with waterproof tapes such as Walker Ultra Hold or Walker Lace front. Really like how you cut the tapes in half, I do that as well. One thing I would like to add for those that might read here - ensure to get original tapes and not some knock offs that are often sold on Amazon. The hold is way superior on the OG brand tapes. You can buy those in specialised online wig shops or hair replacement shops. Having done this for more than a decade DIY style - I witnessed the very difference. So don’t give up on tape that easy if you had a bad first experience. These days I love the hybrid combo of tapes and only a bit of glue in the very front of the tape. Best of both worlds. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, always love watching your videos!
@@RachelandMarcus just use isopropyl alcohol to remove it (90+ percent alcohol - you can buy this in a drug store or online). Just be careful not to get it in your eyes
@@hollysmith5509 hi, not sure if this question was for me, but here I will answer for my own experience - I use trusted Walker brand - Ultra Hold tape or Lace Front liner tape. Both are one of the most popular ones, longest lasting and waterproof. Just ensure you buy from trusted sources like wig shops or hair replacement shops as lot of Amazon tapes are Chinese dupes and will not act the same.
I love tape, it may be old school but it is still perfect for the quick applications. It also saves your wigs from the need to have to do those messy glue removals that take forever. I always keep a stash of tape for easy on and easy off, no mess. Glad that you made this video because tape is so under rated. Beautiful hair.
Excellent demonstration pretty lady!!! Everything is not for everyone. I try every single method you show us. Sometimes it takes me 5 or 6 tries before I get it. Thanks Marie!!!
I remember when I first tried tape it was frustrating too, until I found a technique. Also, I’m sure someone will now create a simple tape off this video. So I hope this helps 🥰🫶🏽
Your tips were very helpful and easy to follow. I used tape years ago and thinking about going back to it especially during the summer. I do sweat and hate when adhesive turns white. Thank you ❤
Good Night Ms. Precious Marie. This tip is a great way to save the edges of your hair. Thank you for sharing. May you & your family continue to be blessed. 💜🙏🏻👑✝️
Hi Miss Precious Marie I have been Faithfully when I have the opportunity to watch your videos I've been so busy lately but anyway watching all the way through even the commercials as I said I would do and my appreciation of all that you do show us teach us was so much humbleness kindness and with joy so basically I am saying I hope you are getting the the benefits of the videos playing through I don't know how you tube works but I wish you the best thank you again GH
I have not been able to get the tape to work...Ive tried 3 different times. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Going to try one more time...thanks Princess...
I can’t wait to try this method! Thx! Does the My sticky little secret glue remover help this wipe off the lace easily without causing damage to the lace?
Yes remover to remove. But how do u get the tape off the lace without ruining the lace?😢 does it just dissolve the tape or something? There has to be residue still left right? Pls help
I sweat heavy from my head and it doesn’t lift. Now, I don’t stick my head under water for swimming. It’s not my lifestyle lol. But it holds super wet. Not sure soaked 🧐
I love it for the sides. It says no shine but it still shines. I have to make sure I have no make up on in the area to make it hold. I can take my hair off at night and re use the same tape still on the unit the next day…great for a quick install !!

@@her247hair I’ve used tape before definitely better. However nothing I’ve use has worked to keep it down around my ears/sideburns. You have any tips?
I used that tape and love it! It is literally the first install method that actually holds. My wig was on for 3 days.
Thanks for sharing!

I totally agree!
I love the tape for ALL of my wigs... no mess😊

I thank you for an excellent professional demonstration of how to use the glue tape. I had purchased the exact tape and had no clue how to use it.
You are so welcome! I’m happy to help 🤗

The algorithm will do what it’s taught. I am just grateful for you and everyone that supports! I love y’all 🥰🫶🏽💕
Thank you I haven't worn a wig in a few years now I know how to reinstall it the new way
I’m so glad it helped! 😊
Is there a video on how to REMOVE the tape from the wig?
It’s simple. Use a bit of coconut oil and peel it off.
Thank you so much for this video!! You always give the best tips/tricks ❤
You are so welcome!
Try 'no shine ' by walker tape
Appreciate this step by step, thank you!
You're very welcome!
Thanks 4 the tips!😉
No problem!
So informative
Glad it was helpful!

What happened?
@@Mspreciousmariei can't get the blue strip off once its down. I tried again this morning. Uggghhhh 😢
@@Mspreciousmariethe adhesive is on the blue strip that I have..I ordered it from your link on Amazon
@@starsoul_7 try removing the blue strip BEFORE sticking to skin. The white part is easier to pull off once the tape is applied.
@@MspreciousmarieThank you I finally got it. Wheww my first time so not all that great but I know practice makes perfect. I appreciate you Princess.

Yes it does!
Is back of hair glued down under wig cap like front? Good video😊
Not with this cap. It has straps.
You are a blessing❤❤❤❤❤
😇🥰
Beautiful unit🤩🤩🤩
🥰🫶🏽
Can you go under water with it? Planning on going to Mexico in August and i definitely want a secure frontal wig without using glue!
It’s sweat proof. You need a water proof adhesive
Hello could you please tell me what density this wig is thank you 😊
@@Mspreciousmarie thanks I will look again.
@@deliaangeles1185 My wig is 180. But it’s also available in 150. My apologies I thought it was one density. 💕
Do you think dry shampoo powder or spray might work?
It could help 👍🏽
Thank you because i was so confused 😂❤😊
You’re welcome!
Yes remover to remove. But how do u get the tape off the lace without ruining the lace?😢 does it just dissolve the tape or something? There has to be residue still left right? Pls help
Tape always peels off. It does not ruin the lace.
Try it out for yourself. You will see babe 👍🏽 No worries 😉
So how do you protect your edges?
Push them back before application. Also, remove the glue/tape gently.
Beauty ❤
Where can I find the link with the wig and products you used for this video?
Below the video in the description box 😊
I cant get it to stay sticky. But i didnt use alchool to dry the area though is that why?

What happens when it gets wet? Can I go to the Waterpark?
I sweat heavy from my head and it doesn’t lift. Now, I don’t stick my head under water for swimming. It’s not my lifestyle lol. But it holds super wet. Not sure soaked 🧐
I’d like to see how u remove it
As mentioned, I use the remover. I’ve already shared this in a video.
So I forgot my skin protectant. Is that a deal breaker?
It still works good 👍🏽
Im not understanding why people use glue then? Won’t have to be embarrassed with lace lifting
Some people find adhesive easier than tape and visa versa 🤷🏽♀️ When I first tried tape it didn’t work. But now the technique I do works.
You can remove the tape with alcohol very easy
Yes. But I always felt the alcohol cause a white ring around the hairline…
I use Walker tape not shine. It works very good.
But the problem I have is to take the paper from the tape
Use tweezers 👍🏽
I love it for the sides. It says no shine but it still shines. I have to make sure I have no make up on in the area to make it hold. I can take my hair off at night and re use the same tape still on the unit the next day…great for a quick install !!
YOU ALLWAYS SEE THE LACE ,BETTER CROCHET !
Not on everyone.
