I agree, Cyan. It would be nice if we could find a compromise to manage the forest/logging in a sustainable way. The same for the rest you mentioned. Even sitting at home, working on a computer, I'm eating up energy that is run by coal-fired turbines many miles away.
@@BuckeyeBigfoot I just got a kitten about 3 weeks ago that is growing and leaps and bounds it's not quite four months old. But I got the kitten because I wanted my older cat to have company when she is alone-oh my gosh. I know the little kitten misses her siblings and mom so I hope that you try to adopt them out in pairs that's the best thing to do. Anyway this kitten is way way too full of energy for me I swear the cat got more energy than any kitten I've ever seen and my cat is not thrilled about it she's finally kind of accepting the kitten resigned more like and she started grooming the kitten and then suddenly she got a croaky voice and lost her voice she hasn't been able to meow for the last week normally and or not at all I think it's from hissing when the kitten was attacking her over and over thinking it was playing. So I have to keep them segregated and it's stressing me out too. When they have other kittens to play with it's better. I wish you good fortune on that!

Where I live, the people are extremely tolerant of the homeless. Your last story made me think about it. We have a lot of folks living around our community in wooded areas and some in areas the city has designated for them. People have to be somewhere! So, why not make it easier for them. There are many reasons for one being homeless and not all are by their own actions. Our city has gained a reputation for our acceptance and it draws a lot of them here. I live in LR, Arkansas and growing up we had this homeless man that roamed the streets. He wore a Walkman with headphones but we never knew if he had anything playing on it. He always looked very dirty and local businesses would regularly give him food and drink. Word was he came from a well to do family but he had mental issues and wanted to be a loner homeless person. When he passed away they did a story on the news about him. Everyone knew of him because he roamed the streets here for at least 25 yrs. We worried about how he made it through the extreme hot and extreme cold but he always made it, until one day he didn’t. He was found in a drainage ditch dead of natural causes. RIP
