Wow only 3% goes to the charity that’s shocking. We call our “thrift” stores Charity Shops here in Ireland. They are owned and run by the actual charity that benefits. Almost all the staff are working there on a volunteer basis. Only an area manager or similar might be salaried. So 100% goes to the charity, some of it is obviously absorbed by administrative costs but 80 plus % goes to the actual charitable cause. Especially if it’s a local or national ( as opposed to an international like Oxfam ) charity.
That would be beautiful if majority of them were like that here. I think turnstyles is the only one I go to that I know they’re all volunteers and it goes to the Catholic Churches locally

I love Yvonne at Gingerchick rehab!! She lives an hour away from me and her and her husband came to my little store in Three Rivers Michigan. They are the nicest people!! She is so very talented and gifted!! Just like you!!! I just started making the flannel shirt makeovers. So much fun to do!! Thank you for teaching me that great technique 😘😘♥️♥️😅😘♥️😘😘
My oldest will be 50 this year my middle son will be 48 my youngest who is in heaven would have been 45...I will be 65. Time goes fast enjoy every season. Love your flips. I love that pink angel.
I just love watching you craft, you make some amazing work. I have 3 children well they're all grown up now my youngest is 30, and I also have 6 grandchildren. We to moved away from a bigger city and moved to Missouri over 20 years ago it's been great, although away from family members. I haven't seen them before Covid 19 hit. I think if your putting it in your shop you could put a faux plant for decor purposes but put a price tag on it as well and then if someone wants both then they can buy both if not they can take the faux plant out...I think it would sell faster...super cute. unless you have only online.

@@UnicornDustDesigns, oh the babies have more babies. I have 3 grandsons and my granddaughter who I claim like my own(step daughter’s child) had a baby girl in January, so now I’m a great grandma at 59. I might get in trouble buying for the girl though.
Because all the mod podge would have come through the thin fabric and I wasn’t digging that look. I also thought it would be hard since the fabric only had a little to attach to on the sides 😊😊 and please don’t hesitate to ask questions

My favorite paint is DIY for blending and comes off everything...But the other favorite is Melange. It goes on sooo smooth and self levels well.
