I usually tilt my Orbiter to the side a little bit, and it gets into the grout lines way way better, you can feel the side that you tilt follow the grout line like it's a old school electric slot car race track, I don't need to tell Corey this but for anyone else that was wondering, this is what I found to be a method that works for me. Corey! Hope you're healing up man, business slow down a little bit over here but taking the opportunity to learn how to buff and refinish hardwood floors as an add on service!👍😎 Take care!
@@jrtama5 i no longer carry or plan to use an oreck. The small rotaries do a better job and don’t sling solution around. I grew ill using the oreck due to this other channel here on RUclips. 🤮. Hopefully i will be able to return by December at this point. Two surgeries set me back too far
@@CarpetMuscleTV that's interesting, I'll have to check out the smaller rotaries then, definitely trust your judgment. I know December is not coming quick enough, but definitely finish healing up so you don't mess yourself up, take care and thanks for sharing the tips and progress sir🙏 !
I'm reminded of my custodial job when it came time to scrub restroom floors...rotary scrubber made it look SO much better, especially if you let the cleaner sit on the surface a bit before you hit it. Saw one of these machines in a local shop today, and I'm heading back tomorrow to get it.
I own one of these Orecks, there great machines, but I'm looking for a good product that I can use to clean my grouts I tried couple of products it didn't work as good. Let me know what you would recommend thank you.
Thanks for all of your Videos... your doing great. I received my Oreck Orbiter today and I will try scrubbing my kitchen for now. i will use Las totally awesome as you recommend. What other liquid I need to spray on floors? One more question... I can notice round towels for drying floors and looks great .. Where I can find it. ? thanks
I always use hydrogen peroxide in my mix. Clear volume 20 from Sallys. You will probably have to improvise on the towel. These were from ikea and have been discontinued. Thanks For watching 😀👍
@@CarpetMuscleTV I just found "GTF Microfiber Car Cleaning Cloths, Upgraded 1200gsm Ultra-Thick Car Drying Towel Microfiber Cloth for Car and Home Polishing Washing and Detailing 16'' x 16''(3 Pack)" on Amazon. I think I'll give those a try. Thanks for all of your advice and responding to comments!
Hi i am impressed how well you clean the carpets and tile just few ingredients. I want to ask how much % do you use on your mix for tile and/or Carpets of hydrogen peroxide and Clear volume 20 from Sallys. thanks
In small areas like this you can use the towels to pick up the solution. I have done it so many different ways. It all depends on the situation as to what I use for tools and for chemical.
Hi, great video. Learning g a lot watching u. Just moved into 23 year old home with tile bathrooms. Grout is filthy. Had professional grout cleaner out to clean. No change. He told me he thought someone had waxed those tile and grout at some point. Any tips on getting this wax off the grout so they can be properly cleaned. I've tried e everything. Thanks.
Yes I can help you. Unfortunately you had a professional with no skills come out. Had he been skilled enough he could have taken care of the problem. His method should have worked, but his understanding of chemicals and solutions was not sufficient. In order to take floor finish off you must use floor stripper. This is available at Home Depot. It is almost Impossibe without all the tooling and some experience. You put the solution of floor stripper on and let it dwell. You then scrub it with a rotary machine and a black pad until it turns into a solution that can be vacuumed away with a shop vac. It is then cleaned away with vinegar to neutralize the floor stripper. If the man doing the job is not skilled at it you will have terrible results. I will look for a video i did in January where i did this in a vct tile floor. It’s more difficult when it is on ceramic tile.
Las totally awesome/20 volume peroxide & the Oreck + orange brush worked well for my kitchen and bathroom but didnt do much for the main traffic areas of my living room. Ive even manually scrubbed the hell out of it with bleach and oreck tile and stone cleaner (at different times of course) to no avail. Im about to try some Flex powder with Citrus Solv to see if the High acidity will cut whatever grime is still on the grout. At this point im wondering if a grout sealer was put over the dirty grout or something cause my living room grout has been a B!+ch
If you do a strong mix of zep floor stripper and peroxide you will be able to melt of floor finish if it was ever applied. If you need specific advice you are welcome to text me on my cell. You will need to do a vinegar neutralize on it at the end.
@@CarpetMuscleTV Well thanks man, you probably saved my life. I have my 1st tile job on the 18th and I wanna give the customer noticable results at least, and I was slightly discouraged since I haven't even conquered my own tile floors yet. I'll use the products you mentioned and Thank you
Thanks for sharing. I just purchased the Oreck orbiter ultra machine. I’m very curious of your circular towels ? Would you please share information on them ? Thank you 🙏
T Jean the ones in the video are no longer available. I purchase towels from directmopsales.com i also purchase oreck products from challengerop.com. I am a challenger dealer as well. Please subscribe to see daily uploads.
Nothing you see here should be done to marble. This video is regarding ceramic tile. They are entirely different. So please don’t use this video as an example of how to do any natural stone.
If floor is not too etched or scratched that little machine will work to polish . You need marble polishing compound and some water. Vacuum thoroughly after it's polished. For removing scratches and etching easier use a 20" rotary machine. Cut with diamonds 1st. Good luck. 👍
CarpetMuscleTV thank man. I’m not a pro, just spending my social isolation time cleaning every corner of my house. Haha. I’m gonna give it a try tomorrow. Hope I get the results you got from the Oreck!

Where in the world did you get those round towels!? What are they called?
Yes, I’m wondering the same!!

TofuTime not here. Only if you have to. It’s difficult to breathe. Toxic
