Thanks for the great video Louise. Its is a truly beautiful island and my wife and I managed to get back there for our 25th anniversary without the kids. We had the same experience as you with the car hire. The company actually turned out to be fine but it did take the edge off what should have been a special trip. In the future we will book with Avis, who are based at the airport and after taking into account the extra insurance are actually no more expensive. Hope you a great time.
Aw congrats on the special occasion! Good advice about the car, I’ll remember that. It was, to be fair, otherwise a good experience. But I was annoyed at the time. So so glad we got the car though. Loved driving about. Never done that, so it did feel strange lol x

Better to take full insurance when booking, because then any dinks or scratches do not matter. Plus peace of mind when leaving it parked somewhere...
You had to anyway but yes always good to do. Id already paid for it though.

Almirante Farragut? Been twice! My daughter was a TUI rep in that hotel for a season so we visited while she was there, then went back again as we liked it so much. Did you go all inclusive? We did, and the food was really nice.
