If you hang out at a busy boat launch, you'll see this. Some real knuckleheads out there. When you combine beer, boating, trucks, trailers and lots of spectators....its a match made in heaven.
You wouldnt believe how many boats are named "suck my wake". I have seen everything from Bajas to pontoon boats named after this boat. John Candy was awsome.
Anyone have the original movie that had him backing the boat in and getting stuck between trees ? That use to be on the original move and tv version but was cut from the dvd
@bobjr94 I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers that! I've got the DVD and its not on it, plus anytime its on TV I watch for it and I haven't seen that scene since I was little.
It's what i would name mine if it was a playcraft with the 502. I saw this movie as a kid and loved that boat. I have a tooner, every now and then I say "A pontoon boat, what are we gonna do retake Omaha Beach" Not many people get, I just smile.
I recently rented a cabin like that in that Locattion. It was set in Wiscosin. But, I t really is in Bass Lake, California. It is beautiful. My husband and I stayed a whole month. We were scheduled for a week. I went fishing there every day.
