I asked how my old best friend was and if I could get in contact with him, and he told me he had ended his life. It was a horrible way to find out, and I couldn't help but wonder why he did it, and I wish I could have been there for him. I was hours away, didn't have anyone's contact info, and I had no idea what was going on. (I might delete this comment later, but thank you for the condolences.)
