Op4 is a bit lighter because Ainz has accepted the fact that he’s a villain. He will do whatever he needs to to make his peoples lives happy and he’s finally ok with it.
And in season 3 the author reminded everyone that Ainz is evil 😂
@@paragasmanuel553 Oh, is that what they were trying to do? I *hated* season 3 because it seemed like they had completely forgotten that he *isn't* evil. I mean, season 1 had all that internal monologue about his mental struggle, even season 2 felt like he was trying to be the best he could be under the circumstances (even though the best he could be wasn't very good), and then in season 3, just... all evil, no more mental struggle. I guess he just doesn't realize the shift until season 4? Which meant I didn't realize it was intentional on the part of the creators. Just felt like they gave up, honestly.

@@paragasmanuel553 Hm... Well, that makes S3 make more sense. Though I'm still not sure I like it, nor would I like S4. I actually really liked S1 *because* of that internal struggle, then midway through S2 I was like "...Why am I still watching this? I don't enjoy it anymore."

I think it’s really cool that you noticed even though most of the songs( for both the OPs and Ed’s) don’t have translated lyrics for the whole songs that most of them are actually from the perspective of the MC(or the female Lead). With a series following the perspective of the villain, the songs themselves really show the MCs slow filling of that role overtime.
I'd say that the ones made my Oxt (male vocals) are in the perspective of Ainz (skeleton), and the ones made by Myth and Roid (female vocals) are in the perspective of Albedo (demon lady)

OP 4 was dark af even melody was lighter and more colorful lyrics were more like a crazed poem oozing with dark feelings. It took some research to find somewhat accurate lyrics, so here for anyone who wonders.

Overlord is Master piece
Scary is the perfect tone for Overlord. Safe is the last thing you'll feel as a human around Ainz.
Overlord is such an interesting idea as a show and the music reflects some of that aspect. I don't know if you're going to want to follow the anime but the brightness and darkness in the track is very much reflected in ways in the various characters of the major group we follow (Skeleton Guy with the Staff and his peeps)
Also yes, obviously, go peep the ending osts, they're also fire but in a different way. Also there are a number of excellent english covers for these tracks that if you want a deeper understanding of the lyrics it's a good place to go considering how pretty good they get with their translations and HOW difficult it is to make some of those translations work in the song.

A bit late cause i just see the reactions today, but for the english covers i personally recomend the Studio Yuraki ones.
And, as a former violinst, the reactions of a fellow musician put a smile on me, im mexican but the fact that we can enjoy music no matter the languages its a magical thing for itself
I think the Ops do a very good job at portraying the descent into madness of the MC and his eventual acceptance of his evil, while also showing other characters pre existing madness and how it corrupts him in a way
each song is a mix of many music styles metal country spanish folk rap techno rock clasical operah they mix and match and somehow they make it all work
The full version of opening 4 goes even harder... Wayy harder even the claps

@@TooPiece Hmmmmm. Let me start the "Black clover" suggestion. I bet you will get alot of people wanting black clover opening reactions. Naruto, One Piece. Not sure if your still watching Bleach but that's one too. The ending for Spy X Family has a solid rnb ending.
Japanese artist like BRADIO, CHANMINA, Gen Hoshino, MALIYA are good aswell.
I could go on for hours suggesting, there's just so much Japanese songs that are good or really interesting to hear.

for context on the openings, from season 1 to season 2 all openings where made by Oxt and the endings by Myth & Roid, then on season 3 they swapped and the opening was made by Myth & Roid and the ending by Oxt, on season 4 however Oxt got back on opening and for ending they got a new artist.
highly recommend checking the endings, specially the 3rd one (the one made by OxT) though they are not hyper songs, they are very good.

People keep saying skip openings cuz spoilers... good ones are there to build HYPE for what you know is coming. You've just watched these with no idea who the chars are or what they're doing. As you watch the eps you'll recognize more and more, and start wondering how they'll get to those moments. You'll wonder how those moments play out.
Good openings on good anime build you up and increase your engagement with the show. If the opening robs you of your ability to enjoy the show, at best its a bad opening, at worst and more often, it's just a bad show.

so, this is about mc and his NPC he create with other member (they are like family) total they have 41 supreme being.
however, one day it was time to close the game YGGDRASIL and only mc remained and when he woke up, he was already the character he played.
Forget the heroes and the peaceful life of mankind, because the most important thing for MC is the happiness of the NPCs they have created like their own children and their people.
that wasn't a flying heart, it was a flying fetux.
And he's an Angel. Who largely speaks in the angelic language of Enochian and is completely incomprehensible to everyone around him, meaning that the subs you watch if you watch this will make 'some' sense but will largely be gibberish to your view.
And his name is Victim.

Hi anthony! I came from your kpop channel but i love Overlord! I recommend watching the Ending songs of Overlord as well they are on par with the openings as well. And yes please to react to the Overlord episodes as well, this tuesday (sept 27th) is the release of the season 4 finale and then an overlord movie is slated for winter 2022 - 2023. Also the dub is pretty good if you want to watch Overlord without subs. Hope to see overlord as regular content on this channel of yours in the future.

Hi TooPiece i rly liked your reaction about overlord... Fun fact for you : same band created opening of 1,2,4 series and ending of season 3. Same band created ending of 1,2 and opening of season 3. After the season 1 ending the singer left band and create own band whitch is singing in season 4 ending. Another fun fact. One interesting spoiler is in season 2 ending what will be shown in season 4 last episode. In season 3 ending is a lot of interesting fact on artwork but you realize them only when you watch the anime :) (about that black strings and darkness) btw thank you in the ending i realized a few thing i dont even thing about cuz of you :) im giving sub i rly liked your reactions.
