Honestly Ahsoka Tano is one of the best female Star Wars characters to ever exist. I was super sad that I couldn’t get the ears when they released. A lot of hours spent on shop Disney and the website glitching that prevented me from buying them. I did find someone on Etsy who made very similar ears and they look just as amazing and are very comfy. This DIY is also fantastic and I will save this for anyone else wanting their own Ahsoka ears
They turned out amazing!!! Ahsoka Tano being my favourite Star Wars character (I cosplay her and made my own ears to wear in Hollywood Studios last year already) I was so excited to see an official take on her character ears. But the pricing is rediculus and being from Germany I don't have excess to them anyway. So thank you for your in depth tutorial. I will definitely recreate them as well 😄 And you guessed absolutely right. She is an extremely popular character and whenever merch is released it is limited, sells out quickly and very expensive or nowwhere to be found. And being from Europe doesn't really help that.😅

My favorite Minnie Mouse Main Attraction ears are the Peter Pan ones for June! I was so ready to sit on the computer when the collection dropped, but the release has been postponed!! I wonder if you could make some of those when they come out?

There’s actually tons of small shops that had existing similar designs before the Designer version of those! Would be easiest to recreate if you have a Cricut

Since you're kind of a diy wiz, have you found a way to preserve pins you want to wear yet? I own a lot of different bags and try to put my pins on everything because I love to have them out and about, but some of them are pretty rare. I was wondering if you've experimented with clear nail polish or something. I have a silver metallic hinge pin that's starting to show streaks of wear and I'm pretty bummed about it!

I can’t believe people charged 5x the price for mouse ears. They did that with the graduation ears and I was not going to spend that kind of money. Luckily, shopdisney put them back to stock so I was able to get it for the regular price.

I saw that Betsey Johnson designed some little mermaid ears! They might be hard to make though.
They actually wouldn’t be too difficult to do! You just need some sequin flip fabric and decorative items for the crown

Unfortunately the Tiki ears are not DIY friendly, given the specific design of the fabric

Some ears are more DIY-friendly than others, hopefully more Main Attraction ears will lend themselves to DIYs!

I don’t really wear pins out, and I wouldn’t want “modify”/damage a pin like that. But a nail polish top coat would likely work as a good sealant

Leather paints work great. They don’t need to be built up as much
My on-hand supplies are pretty cheap, hopefully I’ll be able to upgrade to some nicer paints!
