Napoleonic wars and French Revolution are awesome! You should do the battle of Leipzig/The battle of the nations next. Also fun fact: The guillotine was the last name of the guy who made it, and it was thought to be the most humane way of execution at the time.
I mean, it’s more humane than a euthanasia execution
Thank you for appreciating out French History
You and me are probably thinking about the same book
I know that this is a mod so you’re limited by your resources, but I love that the uniforms worn by the garrison is the French Imperial uniforms
Hello Dailey i french and actually the révolutionnaire were not all civilan, some of theme were soldier and fight against there own trouper. Aldo you need to upgrade your french accent 😅😅
C'est du grand n'importe quoi on est d'accord 😂
Im agree with you
If you're going to do a French revolution series can I request the Last stand of the Swiss guard at the Tuileries Palace.
Would you also plz do a Minecraft military video plz I’m a big fan of ScottehBoeh 😃. Also your the man Daley😎
You should play more Napoleon Total War and put it on Daleyproductions since I love Napoleon style combat
my favorite thing about the french revolution is the head choping
That's disgusting. Vive le Roy.
Is it just me or are is it creepy that the faces look so real
Maybe you could do a video where the clones crash land on a planet with 18th century or 20th century technology.
Bastille Day is a commemmaration of the storming of the Bastille
Nope, it commemorates the Fête de la Fédération that happened a year after.
@@rubytuesday2682 et c'est devenu notre fête nationale !! 🇨🇵
did you no that a lot of heads got choped
I haven’t even watched this yet and I know it’s good👍🏻.Hey Daley could you plz give a new channel a shout out plz, it’s called GRANDMAS KNEECAPS18 🙏🏻😃
Pretty dumb, the monarch soldiers look like Napoleon soldiers (20 years later).
Lets see a recreation of The Battle for Castle Itter where Wehrmacht soldiers, American Soldiers, Austrian Resistance, French Prime Ministers & Generals and a former tennis star versus a battalion of SS units.
Iconic battle which I must confess I hadn't heard of until sabaton did a song on it
Agreed
Yeah it looks like a Netflix show but Americans soldiers, wehrmacht, a tennisman, some French political personalities and Austrians fighting ss is so funny, looks like a Tarantino
Daley, i suggest you watch Oversimplifieds videos on the French Revolution if you want to know a bit about it.
I also just remember that Freemasons also help and supported the Revolution as well. The French Revolution is also known as the first mob ruled system in history
Exact. It was absolutely disgusting thing.
You should do the battle of fort Sumter April 1861
My favorit thing is that the reson they executed the king and the rest of the nobles was becuse the prussian King sent a letter teling that if anything happened to the french King he would burn Paris to the ground.
That's disgusting. Louis XVI was too gentle to his people and let that happen. May God have his soul.
I'm French and I hate the French revolution.
XD
Please Daley do a battle with the German super tank the Ratte
Daley, I've been watching your videos for years and love all your content. That said, have you really resorted to photoshopping thumbnails? Come on mate. You're the best MOWAS2 content creator out there. You don't need photoshop or clickbait "all caps exclamation point question-mark" titles to get views! Focus on building awesome videos and they will come! Love from Belgium.
Do you here the people sing, singing the songs of angry men 🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵
Sa voix me termine au tout début, je suis désolé mais je suis mort de rire 😅😂. Sa prononciation de Bastille me fait bien rire aussi.
Bauggete Baguette Croissant

First
I think I was the third like 👍
Ah, ze fwench bazteele
Well the last public French execution was scene by count Dukus acted and was done by Guillotine in Paris in 1977
There is a cool game called Napoleon Total War where you control large armies against others. If your interested I’m more than down to help!
I know this is a pretty basic fact, but Joseph Guillotine, the inventor of the Guillotine, (If you couldn’t tell already) was slain by his own invention towards the end of the revolution.
Watch oversimplified they are funny and could teach you about the French Revolution
Is commander Louis commanding his fellow revolutionaries ?
the French revolution resulted a massive upset of the existing status quo in continental Europe
That was actually a bad thing. The legitimate authority of the French King should never have been contested.
The French revolution was absolutely disgusting. The method employed actually inspired the communists and the n*zis.
I'm French and I hate what happened there.
@@rubytuesday2682 The king's authority was never legitimate as he was not elected by the people. Any government not of the people and for the people should be overthrown.
Vive la révolution
Wouldnt it be _le_ french?
Keep up the good work Daley love your Videos!
China would like to disagree about the French having the bloodiest revolutions
Viva la République 🇨🇵!
No the French Republic and the French revolution are sh*t.
I'm French and this was the worst part of our history. Seriously.
Vive le Roy. ⚜️
Hey I think it would be cool to do a story line with this mod kinda like army men civil war and use the empires and countries of real life but make your own lore
Yes!!
Daily:looks like they got a number of kills
Reality:1 soldier
We recently had topic of French revolution on history lessons. Pretty harsh stuff
Is their another ww1 video coming out soon Daley
He went from 1:00 french to comrades to austrailian
I played this map in the Born into the fire mod and th mission was even epic as this mission
Really could be a scene from a tail of two cities.
They were not good back then they were old compared to now
A tictok and see how much likes you get
Make a 1.30 hour video XD
This is the german accent not the french accent
The Bastille Siege happens in 1789, and it was a symbol but not a major battle: their where only a few guards, and only 105 hundred dead (97 revolutinnaries and 7 guards with among them the governor). The governor was having a lunch and a discuss with the revolutionnaries leaders, but they took a while and the revolutionaries decided to attack. The most bloodest part of French Revolution took place in 1793/94, during the Great Terror. I would like the "Prise des Tuileries", the King Castle, for the next battle: only the swiss guards, nobles and the national guards still fighting for their King, against 20,000 french soldiers and revolutionaries.
The Bastille defenders were slaughtered by the assaulters after surrendering, while they were told they would be treated well. I'm French and I hate the French revolution, I find it absolutely disgusting and immoral.
Vive le Roy. ⚜️
Like I said it was not good back then
Absolutely beautiful battle. I love this mod
They were good back then
You are still the best Daley
Napoleon was 12 btw
I love your
videos
Great video!
22 about to 20
Great Video 😋
Plz like my comment
I liked yours
@@paulhicks2124 thx mate xD
did anyone else notice the massive white flag on the Bastille?
Yes it's the royal flag. It's actually a lot better than that current blue white and red flag that I find lacking in meaning.
I'm French and I hate what happened there. Vive le Roy. ⚜️
You should do more battles where there are prisoners being held captive with no guns on a large scale.
I'm French and I love what you do !
I just wanna say... The French revolution is not the same spirit that the American revolution against the British (you know we don't really like British by here, we actually beat them in rugby on last Saturday and it made my day 😂).
It was the worst part of our history, seriously. Not only did it screw up France for more than ten years, and was successful in a bloodbath (genocides against the Vendée people, slaughter of the opponents to the Revolution, war against every so gle European country, slaughter of the elites that were the nobles, slaughters of the priests and Catholic people that didn't agree with the new philosophy)... But it also inspired the communists and the n*zis about the ideology and the methods to use.
Staline and Lenine publicly admitted that they inspired themselves in the mass executions and ideology of the French revolution.
But the worst in all that, is that still now, every French people still believes (for the most part at least) that this revolution was a good thing, that the King was a tyrant and all this stupid stuff that was just revolutionary propaganda.
And still now the hymn of the revolution, the flag of the revolution, the national day, are symbols of France, while they participated in destroying everything that France really was : a Catholic kingdom with at least 1500 years of history.
Vive le Roy. ⚜️
About the Bastille... It was a little castle in Paris that was meant to keep the dangerous people that were put in jail ba'y a letter of the king (a thing that almost never happened, and with what everybody agreed).
Actually when the Bastille was assaulted there were only 5 people in there, amongst which three dangerous fools a, a noble that spent the fortune of his family in casino (basically) and a guy that was making false money (I don't know how to say it in English).
The defenders of the Bastille were veterans, and a lot of them were old guys decorated and missing a leg or an arm, that gained reconnaissance of the King by serving him at war.
When it was assaulted as a "symbol of taking down the monarchy", the assaulters (mostly Paris scum armed by the middle classes) promised the defenders that they would be treated well if they surrendered.
Obviously they did surrender, but the assaulters decapitated them as soon as they put down their weapons, and went through Paris with their heads on pikes.
The funny thing is (if there's something funny in all that) that the three fools were put back in jail somewhere else, and that the two others guys escaped but I don't think the noble was very happy to find himself in the hands of the revolutionaries.
Vive le Roy ⚜️
Not in fact the King locked up political opponents in his prison, we had had famine, disease and poverty because of him.
So maybe the era of terror wasn't pretty but it was a necessary evil to get rid of the corrupt.
Today only a small number of people in France think that the king was good at the time.
So long live the Republic 🇫🇷 🫒
