    Great video! I do think panic selling because of Unlimited is a reason for some decline.

    Appreciate the video and information. Content like this, the work and research everyone puts in will hopefully help carry the game for years. Helping it grow and thrive.

    Great data!
    I think Ref 3 set price is actually reflective of decline in sales price for some of the key singles in it. For instance, force push and they will never leave this city are both selling for about half of what they were early last year and late 2022. So I think you can attribute most of the decline in Ref 3 price almost entirely to the lost value in those two cards alone.

      Any particular reason why those 2 cards declined in price?

    Star Wars Unlimited is definitely impacting this market. The game is fantastic and actively being produced. Prices are within budgets, etc.

      This is a good point. At the end of the day, a living product is living and supported and a dead one is… not and has guys like me making videos 😂

    Mark is 100% right, the economy is crud and people are not doing well.

      It’s a goofy economic time where the economy is good on paper but a loaf of bread is like $7.

    Thanks guys I really like these -I have gotten a few of the Premiere Ltd starters recently just because I wanted some better quality common/uncom. for my Pre. set and generally you can buy them for less then 2 boosters which have less cards in them - also they tend to get less wear over time due to the packaging

    Great job as usual. Thanks for your dedication and efforts doing this. Overall the economy/inflation/workforce automation is taking a toll on purchasing power and discretionary spending for SWCCG . The combined increase of sellers (out of financial need) with decrease in people with discretionary spending power will continue to drive values down for the near future imho. I have found that it's getting harder to find specific cards coming up in ebay listings, especially the popular cards that presumably have the highest demand.

    Completely stumbled across this video. Still have my cards from the 90’s, didn’t realize there was still a community for the game. How can get involved? Is there a discord or something?

    • @boardmatt
      @boardmatt  2 месяца назад

      Welcome! I also stumbled across my cards four years back and here I am, enjoying this game immensely. A few resources:
      Discord: discord.gg/UFqRex9B
      Facebook: there’s several big groups if that’s your cup of tea
      Players committee website (they make virtual cards, have tons of resources and there’s some old school forums): www.starwarsccg.org/
      Play online for free: gemp.starwarsccg.org/gemp-swccg/
      There’s also groups on Reddit and slack but I’ve found the discord to be the best place to hang.

    the 6 Destiny UR are worth more cause they have 6 destiny, they are just better. Other vaders see play, the UR vader is good but he isn't the main one people play

    • @boardmatt
      @boardmatt  3 месяца назад

      Totally agree. Although the slightly nerfed Pc version of both kind of fill that role playing. Lord Vader and Mara Jade are both still pretty legit cards that see plenty of play as well, arguably more versatile than the Emperor which sees play in like two decks.

      @@boardmatt mara being a spy is big for sure. But you still only need 1. You run 4 luke cause like...boom 6 destiny.

    So what is the best place to sell a huge collection of SWCCG? Including all complete sets all AIs, multiple URs?

    • @boardmatt
      @boardmatt  3 месяца назад

      eBay is always a good option. There’s also a pretty robust buy/sell community on Facebook. If you search for Star Wars ccg, there’s a few large groups that exist for that purpose. If you’re selling not on eBay, I’d discount prices 20% off these spreadsheets for the best luck finding buyers. Happy sales.

      Is it it the Enhanced Jabba's Palace Mara Jade? Oversized? Foil? Graded? Assuming it is not graded, EJP, the last ones sold for $39 (February 18, 2024) and $26 (July 2, 2023).

    Hello I have a question if you have time to answer: I have a few of the Special Edition starter decks (both light and dark side) - It says there are fixed cards in there, and also some random cards, are those random cards worth chasing after? What rarities does it include etc. - Any info you know would be helpful, thanks!!

    • @lukefritz64
      @lukefritz64 3 месяца назад +1

      Hello! Special Edition Starter Decks contain 22 fixed cards (only available in starter decks), 22 random commons, 14 random uncommons, and 2 random rares. So, yes, it is possible to pull good Special Edition cards from these. That said, in general, it remains the case that sealed product is worth more than opened product, unless you were to get very lucky and pull a few very good cards and they grade very highly, for instance.

    • @KK-cx3sd
      @KK-cx3sd 2 месяца назад

      @@lukefritz64 Thanks for the reply, a friend is saying I could possibly grade those cards too. Are graded special edition cards sought after at all?
