- 2kliksphilip took an unusual approach to the Odgrub video by jumping straight into a sequel, foregoing the usual content spam of November and December. This, together with the numerous difficulties of developing a video of this size, makes Odgrub's second video a bit different, and a turning point for the channel.
This is a look behind the scenes at the making of Man VS Skyrim - Legendary Difficulty: • Odgrub 2 - Legendary D...
Writing about writing isnt easy, and making that entertaining is rare. I liked this video.

I totally love those small documentaries of yours - what you do, how you do and what struggle you have to overcome. I'd really like to be as you at some point in terms of content creation quality.
I know Right?! most of the time i Enjoy these types of videos more than the videos he is analysing!
Тебя тут не ожидал увидеть, Джо. Я приятно удивлен

You are a crazy person. This is amazing to me, like the operation about the annotations this takes so much time and work, especially the beheading sequence. Thank you Philip, hope I'll be able to work with you on something some day
The klikphilips channels feel like one of the few, actual, pure channels on RUclips. It's so refreshing watching such a self conscious, high quality channel.
Here's to another wonderful year!
Man you're fantastic. You've done everything from inspiring me to start my game, to showing me how to be classy with my RUclips channel, to making videos like this that are an awesome peak behind the scenes of a successful channel. Fantastic stuff.
Can’t sleep either Philip?

if i ever make any type of art i'll make sure to not revive anyone for convenience, this is a vote
I'm back 5 years later to say I finally made my own grand Skyrim project, thanks in no small part to this series. The Odgrub videos and especially the making of videos continue to be hugely inspirational to me, here's to many more years of enjoying these RUclips classics
Thanks you for more Odgrub philip :D. This series got me to start a new skyrim playthrough.
Not only are you proud of these videos but you also create amazing content that hundreds of thousands of living human beings like myself can enjoy, thank you

Wow! Incredible! Loved watching this behind the scenes style video. Super glad I discovered your videos. Sooo much effort and love went into this production and I'm excited for the third part. I'm sure it'll be incredible!
Oddgrubs jouney was amazing and incredibly well written. I am amazed with his depth and only wish I’d seen it sooner
When you realise they can take care of dragons without the dragonborn
GO TO SLEEP PHILIP!
Daddy kliks has blessed us once again
Your approach is so unique. I love this channel just for that. The novelty of you explaining the details of your thought process through the creation of projects, it really helps me understand what you do and why you do it. I cant think of any other channel that makes content as special as yours, and then having a "behind the scenes" video uploaded to another channel.. it's just so cool. Thank you kliksphillip, I hope you have a good rest of your weekend.
I always wanted to offer you some help, but seeing the quality and the polish you apply to your work made me think you don't seam to need it.
You should not worry too much about deadlines, some will be critical but majority will be understanding. You always try to give the best of you for each project, and it shows.
The story, the pacing, the editing, the sound, and in general the Production and the Post-Production quality is so damn good it's an orgasm ! Other content creator should be ashamed... :p
Anyway try to avoid a burn out, that's a nasty thing we tend to afflict to ourselves when we are passionate. And I'm sure if one day you need a hand, your community will be there for you.
Take care and gl hf !
this style of video (along with your development of DD2) has given me lots of drive to continue striving for increasing quality in my own creative pursuits. aside from the crucially pivotal bits to your content, i think an auxiliary enjoyment i see is how diversely your creativity has been expressed through different media
make one about his ancestor in Morrowind
Also damn 500 gigabytes? Way larger than Skyrim itself.
This is why you're one of my top content creators.
You do projects mainly to express and create, not just for revenue, and it shows.
Keep up the good work!
maybe you can try this for the third video;
I think there is a better way to improve your armor and weapons, to get to the maximum level without exploiting the restoration glitch. ive gone through the wikis and watched video guides and tried all kinds of techniques and over the course of 3 days i boiled down everything that works into this: the ultimate guide
*enchanting level 100, all perks*
*alchemy level 100, benefactor perk*
*create fortify enchanting potion*
*drink fortify enchanting potion*
*enchant ring/necklace/helmet/bracers with fortify alchemy*
*equip enchanted items*
*create fortify enchanting potion (create multiple for extra time)*
*drink fortify enchanting potion*
*enchant ring/necklace/bracers with fortify alchemy/smithing*
*enchant helmet with fortify alchemy*
*enchant armor with fortify smithing*
*equip new enchanted items*
*create fortify smithing potion (create multiple for extra time)*
*create fortify enchanting potion (create multiple for extra time)*
*(now is a great time to craft fortify destruction potions to later temporarily triple your damage while enchanting)*
*smithing level 100, all perks for your desired weapons/armor*
*drink fortify smithing potion*
*improve your armor and weapons*
*(destruction enchantments) destruction level 60, augmented flames/frost/shock perks*
*(illusion enchantments) illusion level 90, master of the mind perk*
*drink fortify enchanting potion*
*enchant armor, weapons and jewelry*
you only have to do the potion/enchanting cycle twice because a 32% enchanting potion is the highest percent that the arcane enchanter will recognize. in the end, you should be able to get an armor rating of over 1700 (with heavy armor perks), with all weapons doing around 200 damage, daggers through war hammers (with their respective perks), before enchanting. enchanting fire/ice/shock can do hundreds more damage (with destruction potion active). being a vampire after all this also boosts your enchantments. this will finally be worthy of odgrub
also today is my birthday
I adore these behind the scenes videos. The videos they are about are some of the best content I've watched on youtube. It's quite a wonderful thing to be able to peek behind the curtain as well. Thanks for making both. 💗
Holy fuck i love these videos
I've watched them both 3-4 times, i have no idea why, but it's absolutely brilliant
Phillip has been a huge inspiration for the development of my own style of storytelling. To me, those videos are both masterpieces of story telling and I hope to get their one day. Thank you for the insight into your wonderful mind!!
Love these behind the scenes looks into your creative process. Wish more youtubers made stuff like this
These types of videos help us appreciate how much work goes into your videos thanks for making these small yet entertaining Documentary.
This makes me appreciate your video(s) even more. You are a rare RUclipsr. Thanks Philip.
Honestly, they're two of my favourite videos on RUclips! Granted, that is a rather bold claim to make, but they're definitely up there.
I'd say your efforts more than paid off 😎
Please always be you. Keep doing the "making of" and the "behind the scenes"
your videos really made me play skyrim again - and decide to devote a character just to odgrub. by now, he's level 50. and he kicks ass - on legendary.
thanks for sparking my interest in skyrim again.
the thing i love the most about your videos is the narrating. Your voice is perfect.
I'm glad that you say you believed the decapitation sequence was your favorite, because that was my absolute favorite part of the whole thing. I was waiting for its end as you continued trying to speak, but when it kept going *and* went to the tempo of the Dragonborn theme? It couldn't have made me laugh harder, and I was practically in tears. Thanks for this lovely bit of content, Phillip. It's the reason I keep watching RUclips videos.
Playing Skyrim and making videos seem like a dream job! It's probably hard, and very nerve-wracking but fun!
Your development documentaries for your videos are great man. Odgrub got me to laugh, but the technical stuff got my subscription. Just keep doing what you want to do man.
Something gives me the idea you want to make some series. Just a wild guess.
I first just dismissed the Odgrub video but then found it interesting after it popped up numerous times in my feed. Good job on it XD
It's been a while since I've enjoyed a video as much as I enjoyed the Odgrub videos :s
In an odd way, they felt long but I still enjoyed them thoroughly. (instead of you know, a great video feeling extremely short or something)
Idk I generally enjoy your content though, the enjoyment/minute is ridiculously high. Keep it up :3
Oh, it's you! From the Hammer Editor videos! Glad you made it so far with your channel!
My English was bad and you teached such word as "environment". However, I could create my own little maps with your great tutorials back then! Great guy!
Btw. thanks for the video! Let the dragon hunt begin from new!
Watching this is like watching the behind the scenes of you favorite game. Thank you for sharing! I quite honestly am unsure of what it takes to one up your current Odgrub videos. Best of luck!
I don’t think you realise how good these 1klicksphillip videos are your honestly a great narrator
I almost like these breakdowns more then the videos they talk about. I do like these a lot. Thank you.
You put so much work into these and I really apreciate it!!!!!
Honestly you're one of the most thoughtful and original content creators on this site. Any video you do I absolutely love, keep up the good work!

That dash to the dragon then execution was sick af
Hey, what you say at the end about the your troubles and pain editing such a big project, but in the end being worth it and it opening a whole new door.
That helped me so much, i dont feel alone now, i have the same with huge projects, they can be so painful and hard, and i sometimes leave them for another day, and that day can go on for months.
I remember when i was 16 and i had all the motivation in the world, no matter how hard a project i would always finish it.
The moment you finish a project and upload it, its the best feeling in the world.
Thanks for your words.
Cant wait for the third one, I hope you manage to drag yourself through the development of the next episode soon!
After i watched ur first skyrim , i binged watched all ur videos and i loved the second one , skyrim videos or not ur videos are entertaining af . thank you
Very good video. Here is a thought. There is a hardcore mod ice recently been using, called YASH, and it would be pretty neat to see Odgrub have to survive within a hardcore world, but then again I'm not sure if it would necessarily fit, because this mod is about starting from level 1 and slowly, very slowly getting better at your skills.
I just watched your 2kliksphilip stuff , i didnt even know it existed (just like this one). i though you only do csgo content , but you amazed me with ur humor, originality and talent. I say originality cuz i`ve played Skyrim A FCKING LOT and there is not much that can surprise me
dude I just love your videos, there's so much work into them and a video like this one to cover everything up just makes me appreciate your doings even more
As someone who’s been editing videos for my own enjoyment for a few years now and have been starting to lose my spark for it, this video has inspired me greatly. Thank you Philip. Now I just need some ideas.
I had no clue that i takes so much of work to make thees kinds of videos. u opend my eyed, props!
Hey Phillip, one thing that helps me sleep is Bob Ross Joy of Painting. Highly recommended, haha.
A fellow Justin who also listens to Bob Ross. Life is beautiful. Lol
Thanks for all the stuff you do, Mr. Philip.
You deserve more for the effort you put in videos man.
Philip, your work amazes me, from interesting views on death to insanely creative projects - I love it all. Please know that your style is appreciated by so many!
These are one of the few documentaries that i will ever watch willingly
Great insight into the making of these amazing videos.
honestly you've got to be one of the most dedicated and talented youtube creators out there. Think about all the streamers or gameplay uploaders that don't care about their content. They would laugh at the love you give to your work. But they're absolute idiots for doing so. Because at the end of the day, they can't be proud of their 100th fortnite montage. And their fans certainly aren't going to remember them 5 years from now when their content dies. But you will always be an artist, and people will always value your dedication.
I think you should do Oblivion to deal with Odgrub being OP.
Yoooooo I forgot about oblivion
Not gonna lie at 3:34 I definitely expected you to say hellololofallot.
You pavlovian bastard ;)
I know only two videos in RUclips that show how difficult it is to make games videos and actually making it INTERESTING! LazyPuple about SFM working and kliksphilip about skyrim!
I'm so jealous of people who can play Skye I'm like this. I'm never satisfied with my game and always want more and I mod and mod. I break my game and never get to play past level 20. My game always breaks and I feel I've never actually been able to experience what skyrim really has to offer.
Don't disable mods a lot, it helps with keeping your game intact
It is possible to use a large amount of mods and be completely stable, though it requires patience and a lot of research to get right.
There are essential things like knowing how to cleaning masters (or mods, for that matter) in xedit, making your own patches for mods (things like levelled list conflicts with Wrye Bash), checking for conflicts, being able to troubleshoot effectively, etc. Also, make backups.
Imo the r/Skyrimmods subreddit gives very helpful advice and there are many posts that explain how to do the above in understandable ways.
@@labombaromba I dont know man not really. I modded skyrim for hundreds of hours, for years I tried almost every mod on the nexus (anything interesting at least). I have learned more about the Bethesda game engine than I want to know and after all this time I have learned that the eninge is just unstable. It just cant handle it. I am very organized about my mods and tools like ModManager make it even easier and more structured but skyrim is just a game that is broken at core. Doesnt matter how clean your modding is skyrim will always crash sooner or later. Sometimes I can play for hours sometimes it crashes after 20 minutes. Its random and it makes sad that after perfecting my task that it wasnt even my fault that the game crashed so often.
PS: I tried the special edition too, even though it seems more stable its not really. Crashes almost as often as normal skyrim.
Weird. My setup is pretty much as stable as vanilla is for me. I do crash but it is extremely uncommon, and I can't really remember the last time that I did crash.
I am on SSE, though. I find it significantly more stable LE ever was for me.
My skyrim isn't the most stable game, but my modded fallout new vegas is something I'm proud of putting together, the mess of bugs in fallout new vegas made me go more in depth in modding than I did for anything else, with its strange 130 ish esp limit that goes up or down a bit for seemingly no reason, or that the game itself doesn't build compatibility around its own dlcs, or that the game struggles to load files from its own archives
The little video who almost couldn't

Watching these kind of videos, and my mind goes hes just talking, but then i remeber this is not just any other peraon, this is Philip, so i listen, and at the end im amazed just how greate you manage to make it... By talking. Fascinating.
Unlike most people I first played Skyrim recently about four months ago, and after about 10 different characters (most of them didn't get past 15) I watched your first and second video and now I'm doing expert mode as a sneak archer without fast travel, it's so much different than what I'm used to. So I want to thank you, I have played 300 hours of Skyrim and never played anything higher than adept and now I'm doing new things like trying expert mode and I'm doing a stealth archer for the first time and trying to do alcemey(I know it's spelt wrong) and now I get nervous as I see a saber cat when I'm walking to whiterun for the 50th time. Today I was running around hunting animals to get leather, along the way there was just 5 bandits walking on the road and I remember sneaking around them and trying to get sneak attacks to pick them of one by one, after about an hour I made it back to whiterun and It looked odd seeing a loading screen, because I was so used to fast traveling and missing all the random encounters. So thank you for teaching me a new way to play Skyrim, I look forward to playing another 200 hours.
The thought you put into videos and openness that shows your effort (and its product) is just one of many reasons why we’re all so loyal to you.
