The Future Restoration Of Israel | Romans 11 Lesson 6

Today's Christians face two major challenges in their understanding of the prophecies surrounding the nation of Israel. 1.) Ministers who say God is "finished" with Israel's disobedience and has replaced them and their promises with the Christian church, and 2.) Christians looking at current world events and saying they are the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. Neither are correct Biblical positions and as a result of these misunderstandings of the Bible, Christians (whether intentionally or not) often end up hurting the cause of Christ and belief in every truth of God's word.
Romans 11 verses 25 to 27 serve as the starting point for this message discussing the future restoration of Israel. Pastor James W. Knox provides fourteen Bible passages as examples of the things that MUST come to pass regarding Israel before the Lord fulfills his covenant with that nation. A few key examples: 1.) The Lord must complete his church; 2.) Jesus must physically return to this earth (to Jerusalem); 3.) The sun, moon and stars The alteration of the region around Israel must be altered so Jerusalem is the highest point, and the flow of water has to originate FROM Jerusalem; 4.) Jesus has to be sitting on the throne of David; and 5.) The entire world has to recognize Jesus as the only Lord.
As Biblical Christians, we need not worry or jump to conclusions about world events being the fulfillment of end times prophecy when the Bible provides clear descriptions of what must happen for the Lord to fulfill every promise he made regarding Israel.

They will see him Ike the sun like Paul did, this is his second coming and all Israel (those left alive at the end of the 7 years) will be saved.
