Hi Guys, life takes over sometimes and finding that extra time to tackle the many jobs on an allotment can become a chore and the relaxation you felt goes when your also busy at work and home,i wishing you all the best for your garden adventures ,looking forward to it,take care x
So true!
I like your view on this situation, and yes, a homegarden can be so rewarding, especially, because you don't have to drive to your spot of green anymore, but have it right at your door.
Oh I would love if you took us with you as you transformed your garden. I’m clearing my yard this year and plan to stat at the beginning next year… would love your guidance. Xx
I made the decision last year to give up my allotment, I couldn’t give it the time it deserved and it mentally pulled me down. Now I grow all my veg, fruit and more at home in my garden and I love it. 😊 So totally understand your decision 🥰
You could definitely fit a few mini raised beds & big grow bags/pots in that garden of yours I reckon! 😁 leaving plot 25 will be bitter sweet but I think the universe is prompting you to start a new chapter, a new adventure in life 🪴💚 plus I think an at home garden allotment may be much easier to maintain with your busy schedules ☺️
As you always say, ONWARDS! X
Fingers crossed!
Sorry to hear this is your last year, but understandable. Your garden will look amazing next year As you say ! ONWARD!
You can't leave Mr Puss Pants!
Belated Happy Birthday Paul & Anniversary congratulations you very special guys...always make me laugh & sometimes cry but that's what makes your channel real...Lots of love & sweaty hugs xxxx
It's sad to hear that you are stopping the allotment, I folllowed it from the start but I understand the decision.
How very sad to see you both unhappy at the allotment, it used to give you so much joy, I love watching how excited you get when you harvest the food you've grown but like you said you have a lovely sunny garden and most things can be grown in pots, my whole garden is patio so I grow in pots, it's not ideal but it works for me, even my carrots do well in pots. I was curious to ask if you will be taking all your strawberry and blueberry plants with you back home?? When one door shuts another one opens, looking forward to seeing where your garden adventures go from here, keep your chins up guys, lots of love xx❤
Can't lie, it will be a sad sad vlog, when the final closure of them shed doors happens. But I will look 4ward to the garden series, and so much easier to maintain. But here's too a happy and plethora of spuds, tomatoes and whatever else's comes your way this year, at plot 25. And for the ppl, who take on plot 25 next year, what an easy start, they'll have. I mean the graft, you guys put in the 1st year, to transform the plot, was amazing.
Sorry to hear you're having so many allotment problems. Makes me thankful we have no amenities at all on ours (was a bit miffed to start with but at least we avoid many problems as a result). Good luck with your home gardening when you leave plot 25
Hi Paul and Jason I hope you have had a good anniversary and Paul’s birthday ❤❤❤❤❤
Love you both so much! 😢❤
Aww I'll miss seeing Mr Puss Pants but totally understand that the allotment is not working out.
Congratulations on the 26 years guys. 🥂 That water situation is ridiculous! Enjoy the strawberries ❤ as well.
Sorry to hear this. You guys inspired me to Vlog my own allotment journey ❤ I’m going to miss this, but looking forward to your gardening at home. 😊🌱👍
Blimey, rough news about the additional costs guys. Will really miss these allotment vlogs but hopefully campervan adventures are on the horizon.
Loved the music bty, reminded me of the lovely Mr Rodgers film
All good things must come to an end. The Universe is prompting you to something different and wonderful. You lived it , shared it, now... onward...❤
Absolutely!
Nice one lads,
Looking forward to seeing what goodies emerge on Plot 25 this year, and we will be just as eager to see what goodies emerge from your garden next year. ONWARD!!
Our allotment is in Oldham, admittedly we do not have a mains supply of water but...
Our annual fees average out close to £1 per week, and we have not run out of water as long as I have been on the plot!
Sorry your hand has been forced, hope you get a healthy harvest this growing season 😊
Happy digging 🌱
I'll miss Mr puss pants when you leave Plot 25. Great to see you both and that's crazy about the water situation!! It's a wonder they're not charging the horse tail rent!! They would make a bloody fortune.
We'll miss him more than anything or anyone there. x
Time passes, and things change . . . You've built up such a breadth of knowledge about how to do things from working hard at that place, so the experience will carry over into future success. Including this season, when you'll still have much about Plot 25 to celebrate. Thanks for posting!
Always wondered why not grow at home, already paying rent and water there. It has to be abit easier to maintain doing a little daily. Congrats on birthday and anniversary!
Thank you for another fantastic vlig. The allotment is looking lovely and the greenhouse looks like a tomato forest. i love watching these vlogs, you have given me the inspiration to start my allotment garden again this year with a few added extras. Did you ever get your gardener delight tomatoes to grow (mine never germinated 3 times i tried)
We got three on the go. X
The water cost sounds shocking!
🧡🤓😺xoxo
