    I primarily play Star Trek Online, Star Wars The Old Republic, and Final Fantasy XIV. On my Arc 770: the only game out of the 3 that even tickles the 770 is FFXIV. The other two have the GPU hitting in the low 40C range while FFXIV does push it enough for the cooling fans on it to come on once in a while with temps in the low 60C range. True: I do have 10 fans in the case (excluding those on the CPU and GPU); but, for what I do on my PC: the 770 does it with no fuss or hiccups. The only hiccup I did have was due to a corrupt driver download. A complete reinstall of the drivers fixed that though. Granted: some have ridiculed me for liking the 770; but, it does exactly what I need and want it to do. I am looking forward to seeing just how far the drivers for this card will go in the future.

    I’m wanting to build a new gaming pc and kinda set my gpu budget around $300, what’s crazy is when you start comparing apples to apples I keep coming up with well for $30 to $40 more I can get (X) kinda rethinking maybe maybe my gpu budget should be $400. The more I look the more my build budget keeps increasing, planning a trip to a micro center the next state over and it would be awesome to walk into the store and find a great in store special.

  • @camdustin9164
    @camdustin9164 8 месяцев назад

    Great video, but small correction though, the 7900GRE is not faster than the 4070 Super. If you take both references model and compare them, it show that the 7900GRE is actually slightly slower than the 4070 Super, as shown by Hardware Unboxed. The reason why most benchmarks channels show the 7900GRE is slightly faster because they compare the OC of the 7900GRE(which comes at 10$ cheaper than the 4070 Super) to the reference model of the 4070 Super. If all things are equal, the 4070 Super actually beats the 7900GRE by a small margin.

    • @ScatterVolt
      @ScatterVolt  8 месяцев назад +1

      While your point is true, 7900 GRE OC models here in the US start at $560, like that of the Asrock Steel Legend 7900 GRE, which is a $30 undercut below the 4070 super.
      The 7900 GRE reference model should be avoided however.
