Actually the other girl won, her head was over the line first, but if you go by the official sensor in their shirt tag, the official winner won, because her sensor on her shirt went through first, even though her head did not.
If i saw correctly looking in slow motion.?
Great race either way, technology will never be perfect.

Track rules say head doesn't matter, timing stops when chest crosses finish line. Or else I suppose we'd have some serious chaos with everyone diving cross the line... Olivia Gürth is absolutely the winner, but great race and fighting spirit down the home straight by Greta Varga!

@@halvormartins7208 i know, I was just judging by who was first over the line, I also said that is not what matters, its, who sensor in the shirt is detected first.
I understand, I was just pointing out that the winner by that standard is not always the first across the line.

@@Tigerex966 No problem, I'm sure you know the rules as well as I do. Not everyone knows though, hence my comment. Anyway, a thrilling finish in this race, the girls gave it their all!

Good race! But the German could have given a little more room at the end... She insisted on staying in the first lane.

As long as she is not impeding the other runner, nothing bad happens, you can see before the last water jump both of them go more to the middle of the hurdle and then the German resumes the outside part of lane 1 and the Hungarian still has the inside. It would be wrong if the anyone had cut off anyone, but no such thing happened, so everything went fair

      I think she actually won.
