- En este video vamos a ver la diferencia entre although, though, even though, despite y in spite of. Sabiendo la traducción en español, la pronunciación y la estructura a seguir ya podemos ponerlas en práctica tanto como queremos.
In the video we are going to see the difference between although, though, even though, despite and in spite of. Once we know the translation into Spanish, the pronunciation and the structure, we can put them into practice as much as we want.

Hello, Carlos. Your explanations have been always clearly, all of which are useful. I am preparing on my own to take the C1 test, it has been hard though. I am going to take the exam even though I fail. Although I fail on the exam, I am going to take it. I firmly believe I am going to pass the exam in spite of its difficulty. In spite of studying hard, I'm inclined to say that I need to practice much more. Despite the fact that I've study hard, I reckon that I am mot ready yet. I didn't use inversions in spite of the fact that you taugh me how to form them. I didn't use inversions in spite of you teaching me how to form them. I didn't use inversions in spite of your helping me how to form them.

Buen video. me confundi un poco cuando vi In spite of him calling me pero esto es algo que necesitaba, hare algunos ejemplos espero me corrijas si están mal. It depends on them/their coming. they are used to him/his failing or I am accustomed to him/his failing. (no se si realmente hay diferencia entre be used to y accustomed to). I waited for her buying. eso son los que se me ocurrieron, realmente es un tema difícil, me gustara que me digas si están bien o mal :)
Poner him o his, la diferencia es que his es muuuuuy formal, es bueno saberlo, pero no usarlo en el día a día en inglés porque suena muuuy formal. Todas están bien, excepto con el verbo wait el for se usa de manera diferente : yo esperé a ella que comprara: I waited for her to buy. Accustomed es lo mismo que used, solo que es más formal.
@@theenglishspotlight3886 Si se que usar "his" es mas formal solo lo puse asi para tener en cuenta que también se puede usar asi jeje ya veo no hace mucho estaba leyendo un texto en ingles y vi que usaron accustomed to. Muchas gracias, esta clase realmente me ayuda mucho :)

Después de preposiciones los verbos van en ING. ''Of'' es una preposición
