One of the things I love most about your Street food videos Immy and Tani is that you guys describe and get excited about simple food...hummus, fresh almonds, the tartness of lemons, the saltiness of chili sauce. Basic food that's more common for people to experience in their lives and appreciate more because of how you've elevated it in your series. The cactus fruit you were eating is also eaten much in Morocco and they call it KARMOOS and yes it tastes like papaya.The fruit has thin thorns on it that's why the vendor was asking you not to touch it. The fruit shouldn't be consumed much as it can constipate the person.
