- Srushti Jayant Deshmukh topped among women in the UPSC civil services examination 2018, results for which were declared on Friday. 759 candidates, 577 men and 182 women, cleared the examination. Among the top 25 candidates are 15 men and 10 women

@@thebrownengine9222 bro girls are not given enough education especially in north india due to reasons of getting them married early..dropping out of schools early because india still thinks education for women is useless and due to physical restrictions like lack of sanitary hygiene in schools..Still she defeated all other men with only 4 above her. Look at the number of men and women who got selected for indian civil service. Only a few woman are there due to the above reasons and she is at the top overcoming all obstructions.

I also got Rank 43 in AIIMS MBBS entrance exam in year 2015. I know how much efforts should be given in these examinations. & Yes it feels so good after results. Hero waali feeling aati hai. But ab mujhe AIIMS PG entrance mein bhi rank laani hai achhi.

If her state of mind is okay to get such rank and formally expressed it could be more better if she could represent girls in the topper category. Basically all of them from 1st to last IAS rank has diverse knowledge, so ranking does not matter everytime. It's just a show!
By the way in my view she could express it in different terms without using 'disappointed'. I would like to know if she is really disappointed. 😊😊 If yes, then in my views she should quit. 😄
