we have spent 15yrs visiting Belize .. Ko-Ox Han-Nah is a great place to eat .. we love the SIRH we always stay there .. just before we go home .. we have always had a car so never have had to walk up that hill .. but obvioously you made it .. we will check out the rest of your trip .. cool video
San Ignacio has changed a lot since I graduated High School (Sacred Heart College) there in 1981 but the food scene has always been great. Rice & Beans and Bollos.
Great place! I think we were only part of a handful of tourists there at the time. Hoping things pick up now that the vaccine is getting out to more people and to more countries.
Can’t wait to go back to my home town. So much as changed since 2013. Been trying to find the most recent video but couldn’t find one. Thanks for making this!!
Thank you for stopping by! I have more videos from Belize on the way. And we are heading back in July. If there's anything you want to see and I'm around that area, let me know.
Good video, thanks. I wish you talked about the costs of food and lodging, maybe show the menu. I was also wondering about the weather, but you just mentioned it as I was typing lol.
Thanks Bubba. Good suggestion, and I'll be aware of that moving forward. I'm getting ready to put up a foodie review in San Pedro, so I hope you stay tuned!
We used a shuttle transfer from the hotel we stayed at in San Ignacio. You can definitely rent a car. It is not a confusing drive, but it will take you a couple hours. If you are staying in San Ignacio, and you are doing local tours to the temples or the ATM cave, you would be better off with tour guides who will drive you. So IMO, a car is not necessary for anything in and around the town.
Love watching your vids when I miss home! Hope you guys return and hope to run into you! Gonna keep watching your channel!
Thanks so much for the support! We will be back. ;)
I was in San Ignacio in May of last year. Those hills were no joke. And I agree the resort is top notch all the way.
Ha! Yes. That hill leading up to the resort was not the kind I wanted to climb after a few drinks!
It's beautiful! I had no idea san Ignacio had such elegant hotels. I haven't been there in years. ❤Thanks for sharing this video!
Cool. Love san ignacio
Me too!

Yes. That hill was my exercise for the week. Thanks for stopping by! ✋️

It's much easier to eat healthier there...and the food is great.

had to look up "Craboo" after seeing it as an ice cream flavor.
Some very unique things going on at that ice cream shop!
buen video....puedes recomendar un hostal o unas piezas para 2 ...para ir un mes...pero no hotel de millonario...por favor
I didn't stay in any hostels there so I could not.
Do you recommend renting a car from Belize city or did you fly into San Ignacio ?

We love San Ignacio Resort Hotel.
