    From what I noticed, Matsui is not a very aggressive fighter. But the thing is, he knows exactly when to find the right moment to attack, and where to attack. Seems like he is very experienced and knows what he is doing.

    shokei matsui se gano realmente el reconocimiento incluso de mass oyama porque es muy completo, tiene velocidad, es inteligente al pelear, tiene estabilidad y fuerza, un tanto le veo siempre sin mucha resistencia, pero es un hombre que se gano su lugar, realmente se nota que es alguien muy bueno en lo que hace y muy pocos le dan la talla en su momento.

      @@kermit1211If you knock him out, either with a kick to the head or with a punch or kick to the body, it’s an ippon and you win. If you sweep him and you punch him in the ground (almost simultaneously, if you punch him like two seconds late it won’t count) or kick him hard on the head and he doesn’t block it and he clearly reacted like the kick was very hard but you don’t knock him out, it’s a waza ari (half point) and you need two waza ari to win. And if no one makes any ippon or any wazari, the referees on the corners and the central referee will decide who won or if it’s a draw by moving the flags, if it’s a draw the fight will continue for two minutes.

    Very good example that all their karate actions were 0 effect and only one push to head had impact. Karate is just a sport and has nothing with martial arts.

      Technically speaking he was only good in knocking his opponents first few seconds in this fight in particular I feel you are missin the point andy wasn’t fighting as well as his opponent was in fact every time they fought he kept stepping back and his opponent could easily guess he’s moves and reason I feel the fight was won fair

      You are either blind or stupid. Shokei Matsui kancho kept moving in Andy, Hug was shoved back whole fight. And his every kick attempt was countered. Not to speak how many knees he took. Not to speak he hit man in the nuts.

    Those taekwondoo , karate and judo tournaments are soooo boring .Respekt 4 training and belts ! And the kimono isnt very fight friendly to wear .freefight for all

    Matsui e molto composto nella tecnica, non indietreggia mai, attacca con colpi precisi.....Andy usa l'istinto, un po' disordinato , meno composto, cerca la sorpresa. Entrambi validi combattenti, E il massimo poter partecipare ad un combattimento così, ad alto livello...e contro la madrepatria nipponica del KIOKUSHINKAI....👌
