  • We have been dealing with extremely hot temperatures and very little rain. That combined with some pretty significant bunny attacks have led to some challenges in my gardens right now. Let’s take a stroll through my yard and see what is looking good (and maybe not so good) here in the middle of July!

This is the year of the Bunny. They are targeting gardens throughout the US. I watch RUclipsrs from the east coast to the west coast and several states in between. Everyone is complaining about bunnies, including me. Mine even eat my roses! You still have such a beautiful garden and I’m always happy when you add a new video in your channel. Your sweet little Rosie enjoys showing off your garden.😊

Thank you so much Cathy! I’m so glad you enjoy seeing my little gardens😊🌸. I have heard a lot of people too complaining about the bunny pressure this year. I’m trying to just accept it as part of the gardening experience! I’m sorry you are dealing with them too! Mine haven’t touched my roses yet thank goodness! Rosie does love running around in the yard, the plants are like an obstacle course for her😊🌸.

Beautiful garden. We get rabbits too. Surprisingly they only eat the cut grass and weeds. 🐇 The chipmunks are the ones that graze on my plants. 🐿 😅

I guess we need more weeds haha! The chipmunks and squirrels like to dig in my pots and get my bulbs. There is always something we deal with as gardeners!

Lovely! I'm in a pocket of very dry, hot weather! Your yard is greener! If I dust with Sevin, animals don't touch what I dust. I hope your hand is healing well and your pain is under control. ♥

I feel for you! It has been a long spell of hot and dry! It looks like things might shift a little which I am thankful for! I will have to look up that Sevin dust, I have never heard of it! I am still dealing with the pain etc unfortunately but trying to focus on things I enjoy to distract my mind! I hope you are having a great weekend!

@@onegardenatathyme Sevin is a powder that is used for garden bug pests. It's easy to find and not expensive. You're in my thoughts and prayers ♥

So frustrating to get your plants to a certain point to just have them nibbled off 😒 I picked up some dollar store fencing to surround my zinnias until they got taller. My lawn is also mostly clover not on purpose, yet they are happy with that to munch on 😉 Enjoy your trip, what will be will be 😆

That’s a great idea Lorraine! I have been trying to think of something like that to do for my larger patches of flowers. Of o could have a clover lawn I would be fine with that! My husband likes his green grass haha. I am letting it go and trying to think of a plan B😊
