Who's idea do you think that was lol One of the benefits of working from home and the kids are at school 🙌🏾 lunch dates and loads of laugh 😹 How are you doing? 😀
😂🤣 I know what you mean I thought about making it into a summer house funny enough 😅 my brain is always thinking outside the box. The location is shaded though. The spot that I wanted to put the shed is now where I have chosen to put the greenhouse. I reckon it will need the sunlight than the shed
Hiya That conifer 😅 I don't even know why it's dying. I've had it for 4 years now but it's on its last legs. I refuse to plant any trees in the ground 😅 too many bad experiences with tree in the garden.
Hi T Thanks a lot for watching and fire your great comments. It's really encouraging to get feedback. I hope your project goes well. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask 🙏🏾
Thanks mate. Oh yes I do intend to run electric to the garden. That's not at the top of the to do list due to cost and need but you bet I will be doing just that 😎🙌🏾 With our garden layout being so far away from our house it's nice to finally have some water tight storage in the garden. Greenhouse to follow 😎
That posh shed is more like a summer house. I love the plastic/glass windows. Fantastic Job! Just kit it out with a recliner chair for sapphire and some comfy bean bags for the kids. There’s no way you can store pick axes, forks, shovels etc in that shed. I can see a lot of afternoon teas with the family there 😂😂
Haha pick axe 🪓 I have heard that in a while. Listen, they can have the house. The garden is mine 😂 don't tell them I said that lol I may have to add a veranda and a canopy 😎
Lol Hey Hun You are so right. It's a family affair 😄 not too old to have a bit of fun. Gardening is my element and it's nice to have a partner who shares in your interest 😎
Thank you Cherileene I got to oil it this year to protect it. Spent good money on it so got to look after it 😅 Up next is the old greenhouse I got off facebook marketplace for free 🙌🏾
Oh wow. I had to look up Carlisle on the map 🗾 well not far from Scotland. We want to visit Scotland as we've never been. Might be our holiday destination this year with the way things are going 😎 I bet it's gorgeous where you live ❤️

Amazing to hear man. That is really great news 🙌🏾🎉🎉 That has made my day. The chancellor did his budget today and honestly there was not much in it so to hear that someone I know who'll be buying their home soon in today's challenging society if really heartwarming 💖 We did the exact same thing as you know back in 2019 with no regrets. We are coming from a far bro Ed County days 😅😎
Good job there mate i put our summer house up on my own Feb last year so it is doable but wish i had a hand haha. Iv'e got a 6 x 8 potting shed coming next Monday for the allotment but iv'e roped the missis in this time :D
Wow Nice one bro. A summer house sounds lovely. We wanted to get one but we have limited space and the shed would be the better option especially as we have a greenhouse. We got it of Facebook marketplace for free and had a nice sunny location to put it. We don't have an allotment. Perhaps we will get one in the future but ATM we haven't got the time. We use our garden as an allotment I guess ☺️ Yes, definitely get your missis to help you. The panels a so wobbly otherwise 😉 What are you planning on growing this year?
That's why we got the allotment as its not a massive back garden and its all brick. all the usual hoping to not have to use the shops for veg haha wish it was that easy :D@@TheMalcolms7
@@GoblinKing13 I totally agree with you. It's a beautiful thing to have vegetables grown by your own hands. Healthier, tastier and better for the planet. Yes bro we hope to do some chutneys this year we had blight last year so didn't get any tomatoes except what we grew at home. yea it's stupid expensive for allotments down south i know some in London are £500 + a year ours is only 25 quid a year but we're near Sheffield so not bad at all.@@TheMalcolms7
@@GoblinKing13 wow 😮 £500 for allotments. That's actually crazy. We lived in London for years and now we are in the west Midlands. Haven't applied for an allotment here but let's see
Hi Imran Thanks for getting in touch. I'm pleased to say that the shed base is holding up really well. There has been no issues whatsoever. It hasn't sunk en and I think that's because I took the time to use stones. Aunt pound them into the ground to add stability. As for slabs, They haven't shifted or moved which is great. I do believe you could put the shed straight on the floor without the wooden base. However the wooden base helps To add strength and rigidity to the shed Plus it also helps to keep the shed up of the floor allowing air to circulate underneath to prevent rot and mold. I would definitely put some batons and a base down to create that air flow. I haven't seen any damn patches on the floor or mold which is great and will help to shed to last longer. Also make sure that the concrete slabs are higher than the ground to prevent water running onto them and it's a great idea to make sure there's a slope that if water does get underneath it will run off and not settled under the shed.
@@sensimania Hiya Thanks for your message. The perspex windows came with the shed. Experience. They normally come with a set of Windows so you shouldn't have to buy them separately unless specified, but like I said, they normally come made to measure with the thin pieces of strip wood to attach and fix them in place. Hi, how is your shed base holding up? Is it still level?
Can I put the shed directly on to the patio slabs without using the wooden shedbase?
