Would love to see a new video on how you packed for your move to Ireland, how you decided what to take vs leave behind, things you would do differently, tips & tricks, etc… Curious to know if you had to do it all over again, would you take as much “stuff” with you again?

Still a good idea to do a little bit of an updated video tho! I like that idea bc since that vid, we’ve moved into our house here in Ireland and really got to go through all the stuff we brought that was in storage and we definitely gave a good bit away!
What a beautiful walking path! I sure wish we had something like that near me. No woods of any kind within 100 miles, unfortunately. Not even a muddy puddle. All the interior designers on RUclips say that an area rug should always go under at least two legs of the couch, so you're right on the money! I just bought a crappy little vacuum off of Amazon. I would say it sucks, but it doesn't. I can probably use it for furniture and few crumbs, but otherwise it was a waste of money. Wish I had spent more and gotten a good one. Everytime I buy anything nowadays, I always wonder whether it will be the last one I'll have to buy LOL. Either I'm living a long time or most of the stuff I buy is crappy. Well, at least the Chinese are doing well enough making and selling us disposable vacuum cleaners!
Yeah I always feel more peaceful walking there 😌…. I suppose maybe I’ve heard that tip about rugs before 🤔😆 and I’m glad I stuck with the one I got! Aw Tim that makes me sad to think about it like that 🫤 lol, but yeah I think vacuums are something that are usually worth spending at least a little more for. Hope you enjoy your weekend!

You're still in the busy-busy-busy phase of life, so I imagine weekends are a welcome break (not sure if Gary works weekends, though). For me, a weekend is just another two days. When I lived in Cork, I lived in a big building on a hill above the city - and we had a nice walking path (which we called "the cinderpath." I would walk up there, hear the crunch of leaves beneath my feet and the rustling of branches above. On one side, there was a little cemetery and in parts of the cinderpath you could look down on the misty city below. The wind was great up on that hill, though it could cut right through you at times. At dusk, you could see the lines of yellow street lamps twinkling through the mist below. I had never seen yellow street lamps before (that shows you how old I am!). Anyhooo, walking in nature soothes the soul and when that walk includes sounds (crunching), feel (wind), smell, AND sight, almost all the senses are engaged and you become one with it all. Putting off buying the vacuum. Already spent too much money this month on the plumber. I don't know why I'm putting it off, though. I know I am going to get a new one and I do have the money. Somehow, though, I convince myself I'm not spending as much money if I spread it out LOL! Have a great weekend! I always enjoy your channel!
I have the ‘Vax Steam Fresh Combi Classic Mutlifunction Steam Mop’ (just looked the name up in amazon 😆) knew the brand was Vax. I’ve been happy with it so far! I had a shark steam mop in the states and I liked that too.
I got a cordless stick vacuum last year and I love it. You will be so happy 😂
