I was at Korat in '72 with 4 KC-135s, operating from the east (?) ramp where the -121s, -130s, and EB-66s parked. We moved to U-Tapao in Oct to make room for the A-7s coming in from MBAFB. Great base, loved the F-105s taking off.

Col. Thomas Knowles was a great leader. Proud to have served under his command of the 354th Tactical Fighter Wing and during his leadership of the wing in Operation Linebacker II.
