- This is the final steam Gala on the NYMR for 2012.It was a lovely day today a little bit breezy and sunny.I had the pleasure of meeting up with Dave Howarth and the Stig today, nice couple they are,and Dave is always getting shouted at LOL.
At Grosmont station you will see a signal gantry that is being erected, this used to be at Scarborough station,i am pleased that it did not go to the scrap yard, looking forwards to seeing it in operation once more......
Superb film Mr. Wood! I especially love the sound devoid of wind disturbances. Thank you very much for sharing. I am crazy about steam locomotives and watching your film is sheer pleasure. Take care!

Thanks very much for that kind comment,There is no wind problems now as i have a windjammer on the mic, was not cheap but well worth it. Cheers for the sub,i hope you will enjoy the video's that i have to offer..........John
Excellent work John, some stunning images of trains departing from Grosmont....I thoroughly enjoyed that....Bob
