I think its a bit late but I just rewatched the drama and happen to watch all these behind the scenes so.. Thoughts on their explanation on the rain incident: I don't think it wasn't really meant for Sejeong. I repeated it a lot of times even changed the speed and I could tell he really meant to protect her because of the following points: first, he was actually looking at her when he raised the bag. I think for us if we try to protect ourselves we focus on how we should do it, so basically he should be looking at the bag itself. Second, he stepped forward to her. I think its unnecessary if he only tries to cover his head. He could have done so in place. Third, the height was perfect for sejeong. If he really intends to cover his head it would show that he lifted it higher and then if that incident happened he would have just lowered it to match her height. But it was perfectly raised up and he didn't need to adjust. Next, I don't think he's really that surprised when sejeong hugged him. Look at his expression, he smiled but not surprised. Lol 16 hours straight made me this
