My belt popped off After my coolant flange hose and the adapter blew off I guess it popped off because it got wet but it’s not torn what all could I be looking at problem wise?
Underrated channel
More viewers will come along with time
Agreed
Good work guys, I really like your videos on BMW's.
Very informative! My belt sits slightly forward on the tensioner. Would it most likely be the tensioner. Replace that, and belt for starters?
Hey thats ezactly what mine does too. Belts will start to fray then start to shred.. the idler looks like it has the ever so slight wobble too. I was just thinking if my belt starts to slide off the front of the idler, the part of the belt not sitting on a pulley starts ripping from pressure not sitting on anything?
@tessmcsquizzy4038 I should probably replace my idler too... next I'd say.
I have this problem on an E93 N54. I see how much tension it took to move that belt off the pulley. Mine takes far more movement. I’m thinking the belt is too short. Not sure if you respond to comments but I would be interested in your thoughts.
My belt came off today. Belt was in good condition but the tensioner had disingtegrated. New belt and new tensioner...simples
My belt came off on my MB because the tensioner spring broke. The belt came off and I had no power steering so I knew immediately what happened. Not to hard to replace.
what’d you replace?
@@ross3368 just the tensioner and although the belt looked fine, I replaced it also. I should have replaced the idler pulley but did not. It is still just fine.
Hi, the problem I have is the belt jumping back and forth, it is a new belt, new tensioner and new alternator, why could this be happening? My car is 330d M-sport 2005 E91 touring
I have a 2007 BMW 328i, I want to bypass the ac compressor and would like to know the belt size and a diagram if possible. Please help!
My pulley has like 2 millimiter of play when its installed. Do u think is going bad? Or is it normal to have a little that? I just replaced my supertine belt.
Helpfull a LOT
Can bad motor mounts cause the belt to rip ?
Wont rip but if not aligned properly it will fly off for sure.
Can you do a video on 2008 BMW X5 3.0 a/c stretch belt replacement video.
Same process
I do not have a BMW any more TG. But, listening to your rapid speech that is rather hard to pick up on at times I am wondering about the voice? Does he smoke or have nasal problems? Your voice is coming out as muffled at times. Part of the speech is the way you drop your voice at times (mid or end of sentence)? My wife is from another country and she never learned to articulate the basic vowels and that makes her speech difficult to understand at times. Well, your speech just sounds continuous for the above reasons and it is difficult to pick up. I am trying to help. Don't want to insult you and I appreciate your talk on serp belt fit and durability.
I understand just fine.
You don’t even hv a bmw why are you bothering with commenting.
Listen faster.
I caught EVERYTHING WITH 0 PROBLEMS. A million videos that you could hv watched…imagine.
@@NotOnMyWatch111 The BMW I had was enough for one lifetime fella. They tend to engineer BMW concept with disregard for materials and simple design as I had much experience with one 6 cylinder bought new. The dealers I went to for repairs and problem solving finally gave me a stall in the repairs department after so many times I had to return due to poor service standards and just plain lack of skill. Happy day when I said bye to that pile of BMW engineering. A Benz buyer now with exceptional performance.
Is that guy you are sticking up for your brother or something. Talk to him; help him. Waste your time with trying to correct him. No need to reply to this, fella.
