@@Prusa3D Thank you for the link. But I have to point out that I purchased the assembled Prusa, not the kit. The link you provided goes to the KIT assembly instructions. If there are parts that need to be assembled for the already assembled kit, then some minimal instructions ought to be provided with the assembled printer, either in print form or some link. The printer does come with a printed 3D Printing handbook, and that is where I would expect the spool holder assembly instructions would be, but it's not there.
Hi Roger. Yes, you are right. The instructions for the parts that should be assembled/finished by Assembled Printer owners should be in the 3D Printing Handbook too. I am passing the feedback, and I hope we can add this info there soon. Apologies for the inconveniences Roger.
I assembled my kit yesterday and it works perfectly so far, as long as you print locally or using Prusa's own software. BUT: I'm a huge fan of Octoprint and have been using it with my Mk3S+ for years. I'm comfortable with it, it gives me loads of features including a webcam and a vast selection of plugins. But the RPi which I used with the Mk3 will not work with the Mk4. It sees and recognises it but will not pass data. I've tried different cables and computers but the problem remains and is clearly the printer. I'm not the only one with this problem - there are reports of it everywhere. @Prusa3D: You need to fix this!
@@Prusa3DThank you for your offer of support - but I seem to have fixed it. It was due to the setup for the Octoprint for Mk4 being subtly different than for the Mk3S+: it's not a straight swap. So I re-installed the Octoprint image from scratch, having taken a backup of the original config, imported the config file and it connected fine. Might be worth seeing if you can replicate that and putting into the Octoprint support article. Thanks again.
Is there any way to setup the LED status light on the front to go from White to Green progressively during the print until its all green when finished just like a Rivian R1S does when charging?
It's too bad they didnt included the process before print start. I am on the fence of upgrading my MK3S+ to an MK3,5S or MK3,9S or just buy a Bambu A1 instead. Honestly I'd like to upgrade my Prusa more, but cannot ignore how high the prices are for that compared to a whole new Bambu printer. I know Bambu have a sort of sleep mode, so it can stay connected to the internet, with low power consumption, and everything else turned off. Does anyone know if Prusa MK4 has the same sleep mode? Also Bambu cleans the nozzle before print, it has a nozzle wiper which works great. With the MK3S+ I have to stand with tweezers before every print so before print I can catch an clean off the oozing material quickly. Does anyone know if the MK4 is able to clean the nozzle succesfully troughoutly before every print just like Bambu, or it is not so good at that?
Yes it will. Just the easy release power supply system is not available yet. I have mine printing in the enclosure for a week now. LCD mounts were recently released. LCD cable is a bit on the short side though but it fits.
Id like a prusa but the mini and mk4 are too small...the XL is huge and i cant afford such an expensive tool changer. I need a coreXY enclosed possibly heated. Speed is great but not at the expense of quality and reliability. I get it you are holding onto your existing customers but why not go after the better quality of corexy? And a more commonly wanted size like 280-300mm cubed?

If there are parts that need to be assembled for the already assembled kit, then some minimal instructions ought to be provided with the assembled printer, either in print form or some link. The printer does come with a printed 3D Printing handbook, and that is where I would expect the spool holder assembly instructions would be, but it's not there.
Hi Roger. Yes, you are right. The instructions for the parts that should be assembled/finished by Assembled Printer owners should be in the 3D Printing Handbook too. I am passing the feedback, and I hope we can add this info there soon.
Apologies for the inconveniences Roger.
Mister Prusa you and all of Team, Content and Products are amazing!
I have to admit I'm bitter there is more info on the MK4 than there is the multi nozzle XL
How unlucky! I already have a Prusa I3 and I don't need one more! 😭😊 (That's really cool!)
Hi Manek. Please contact our Support Team with the details of the issue.

Hi Manek. We are happy to know it is solved. If you need more support, you know where to find us.

Great and helpful video for beginners. Good job 👍👍👍
Is there any way to setup the LED status light on the front to go from White to Green progressively during the print until its all green when finished just like a Rivian R1S does when charging?
Great new update!
Well done thanks for a great printer.
When does the XL ship???????????????????????????????????
Hello. Love to have one. Where are the damn kits?
Very cool printer indeed
I feel Prusa will be the next NOKIA or blackberry end style
Trochę szkoda, że ciągle nie wprowadzono ładniejszego wyświetlacza z obsługą dotykiem 😢
Will the Prusa Mk4 work ok in the Prusa Enclosure?
Yes it will. Just the easy release power supply system is not available yet. I have mine printing in the enclosure for a week now. LCD mounts were recently released. LCD cable is a bit on the short side though but it fits.
where's the firmware update at for input shaping?
3:28 Is that an i3 mk0 in the top left?
Id like a prusa but the mini and mk4 are too small...the XL is huge and i cant afford such an expensive tool changer. I need a coreXY enclosed possibly heated. Speed is great but not at the expense of quality and reliability. I get it you are holding onto your existing customers but why not go after the better quality of corexy? And a more commonly wanted size like 280-300mm cubed?
Good Job Józek !
Thank you 🙏
Great great josef👌👌
😊 I will order one
Prusa is Super 👍
Beautiful G-Shock bruv.
Im missing a feature you promised when you sold it to me.... input shaper
Amazing
Well the month is almost over. Are the kits being shipped out?
we really need an update to make the touch screen work as touch screen xD
🧡
Interesting to see no silicone sock, slightly more convenient to clean
Personally didn’t like my mk3s+ Is the mk4 worth? The VFX was way too much for my liking.
Grazie e scusami
Should of been a corexy.
Call it an XL mini with a 250mm bed.
"You'll see the load cell Z adjustment when it prints"
Didn't show it.
I have a mk4 and only 6 months old. Not working at all.
I have sent the error message number to them on several occasions with no definate response.
They have asked for videos of the problem but I do not have video facilities to carry out this
procedure. I bought this machine as a hobbiest not as a profession. I am willing to
dump the machine and take a loss as I cannot get anywhere or satisfation from this company.
Hi. We are sorry for this. This shouldnt be the case with a new MK4 unit.
We would like to check your case, and speed the resolution of it. But we cannot find it with the information on RUclips.
Would you mind to send us a private message on our Facebook/Instagram page with your order/email address?

No touch screen?
the screen is a touch screen but it is currently disabled I believe they are still developing the firmware for it.
@@kailin1496 I see. Hopefully they plan on using the knob and touch together. I have a bigtreetech TFT that has marlin and touch mode, and I wish it allowed the knob as well as the touch at the same time.
Please make more videos on Prusa MK1…
My Z axis keeps failing after tightening and loosening the bet and I watched a video and it still fails it was a kit
Why is your printer so quiet and no rattling noise?
Mine doesn't have rattling noises, none of the 6 I have do. Lol.
@@AnOliviaShapedGremlin Unfortunately, Prusa does not seem to use Misumi bearings anymore, but cheap ones from China. Very sad.
Rattling on the bed?
Mine mk3s+ had this out of the Box, Had to grease the bearings, came dry
Change them with drylin bushings. They turn the printer into a ninja.
What is mean in Prusa - i3 ?
The i3 stands for iteration 3. The current form of bed slinger is the third iteration of Prusa printers. The MK4 means it's the 4th major update of the i3 series
But where is the hat Josef?
Does the MK4 still fits in a IKEA lack table encloser?
can it print metal
No. Metal is too abrasive and making molten metal in a hotend like this is basically impossible. But most printers can’t print metal either
wish I could afford it
just imagine such R&D in automotive, cell phones etc, computers ... OMG
How do I turn input shaping?
You can’t yet. A firmware update will be released to enable both preassure advanced and input shaping. I’m guessing a month or so.
@@mikajurvanen8219 or 2 years as file upload via network ;)
@@aaqu2232 yeah, I hear and read that the wireless transfer speed is a joke. Guess they’ll adress that in a firmware update aswell. Luckily firmware is updatable with the USB :). Hope a lot of those is fixed once I get my MK4 Kit
You know prusa is winning when all the bambu babies show up in the comments, working for their CCP paycheck.
Even when you are on a "Prusa only" video with Josef himself featured, you bring up a competitor. Feeling inadequate about something?
