As it is not so! Not into it. Not a year ago, not now. Their game seemed dirty, heavy, heavy. In this work he discovered a new artist - Victoria Mullova. I admit, I've never heard of it and now I'm very sorry about it.
Opened Victoria with stunning purity of sound in this Sonata. I was amazed.
Well... Bartok himself was not a violinist, I think, and this is the difficulty of performing this work. I wonder if he consulted with the violin or on the already accumulated experience decided to write such a work? (Although he has already written large - scale works for violin - three sonatas, two concertos and six string quartets-I think he consulted with the violinists... And do not ask him how he worked on the work).
This is one of his last works.
