I am from Blackfoot, in Bingham County, yet I currently reside out of state. When I got the gist of what the water curtailments were about, I instantly came to the exact SAD realizations that these two wonderful farmers came to.
This will decimate the ground, the farmers, the local economies, and rebound on the US economy, not to mention much of all of the Idaho economy.

Typical government drought season water rationing: Allow the watering golf courses, football fields, school and government building lawns .... while citizens are only allowed to do their laundry one day per week and the farmers have to shut down their wells.

This affects me personally because these two were some of my best customers. Somethings got to be done about this and quick. It doesn't take long in this heat to dry by crop where it can't be re-watered.

Idaho government officials have lost their minds when we had a drought they handled it so much better if you lived on the left side of the road you watered your crop on Monday and Thursday on the right side on Tuesday and Friday no one lost crop and water usage was cut down

Seems super suspicious when a day before the water restriction, a lithium mine also in idaho was granted 24 hr operating schedule. That mine requires a huge amount of water to operate. Farmers r way more important tham a mine. Do not comply due to the obvious corruption being legislated.
This is the issue, not the water downstream to Twin Falls. Investments in lithium are lining the pockets of our government leaders.
All the farmers should stick together tell them you just won’t grow anything and see what America going to eat.
