Thanks so much for this video, currently using my Amstrad for an art project. Is it possible to remove the text on the screen that says ‘ready’ when the image has loaded ?
Yes it is. And it is even possible to load the image on screen in a second, after loaded in memory. Ask the amstrad guys because I don't remember how. I am currently exploring another computer :)

χαχα πω ρε φιλε το ειχα αυτο το εργαλειο...ετσι με πρασινη οθονη σναιντερ αλλα πληκτρολογιο με μαυρα και γκρι κουμπια αν θυμαμαι καλα..πηγαινε το double dragon και το target renegade συννεφο χαχα..ρασταν solomons key κλπ
Didn't watch the whole video cause it's noisy here, I will in a couple of days.
You must select the correct mode that matches the screen.
if you type mode (0 1 or 2) load"!filename.scr",&c000, you will get rid the progressive lines and the picture will appear instantly after loading.
The ! makes that possible.
As for the PAL file is a looooong story.
