I'm 46 and have been going there as a little kid, and now take my kids. The jack rabbit for me like many was the first "real" roller coaster I ever rode when I was finally 48" tall. They should be commended for the condition they keep it in. As well as the entire park . It's truly amazing 👏
@williambonoffski9515 That's so incredible! It's definitely a super well taken care of park with great rides! Was super impressed! Thanks for watching!
Love these old amusement parks. Used to love going to Americana, Old Indiana, Indiana Beach, Holiday World (before it started getting top notch coasters), etc.
We went to this park about 8 years ago and really enjoyed it. I like the lesser known parks- always have some really original attractions that the bigger parks dont have. Great video!!
You’re welcome glad you enjoyed seeing the lake too as well. If you were to go past Seabreeze down the lake a little bit, you would end up in my neighborhood where I live! A long time ago my neighborhood used to have a boardwalk that started from my neighborhood and would end at Seabreeze back in the 1800s. My neighborhood that I live in is one of the oldest neighborhood in my town too. 😊🎠
Another great video. I’m glad you were able to make time for it. I’ve enjoyed spending some time there. A great family park. Can’t wait to see your next videos.
Our Jack Rabbit opened the same year in 1920. Ours has the most insane airtime moment probably of all time with the massive double dip. Ours was one of the first coasters ever to have upstop wheels, actually Kennywoods Jack Rabbit might’ve been the first. Hopefully soon yinz get to Kennywood.
@@KatiesCoasters hopefully you do next year when Steel Curtain reopens. And when it does. Get out to Kennywood like the second weekend the park is open. Before Curtain breaks again
4 out of the 5 Great Lakes support Michigan and the one who doesn't is Lake Ontario, but we still love it in the Mitten. My home lake (instead of a park) is Erie. I love the videos and the catchy music. YEET!!! very cool park
yay Rochester! Wish you had a time machine and could ride the Gyrosphere which got replaced by that loud ride you walked by. it was so great. And the funhouse too. they were my favorites there after the jackrabbit. Rip gyrosphere and funhouse. and years ago some friends of mine had their wedding reception at the pavilions there.
I might go there next year. what do you think the best coaster there is? Also did you know bobsled was the first coaster to get a hybrid conversion (before rmc was a thing)
Katie, Katie! You have to hear it! *Sniffs* Fury 325 at carowinds replaced me with a new coaster boyfriend, alpengeist! *Sobs* i haven't even met her and she replaced me! And they're getting a baby called Alpen Fury! It's not fair! IT'S NOT FAIR!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭(With that i wanted to tell you that canada's wonderland in Canada is getting a new launch coaster from premier rides next year.)
So glad you enjoyed our little historic gem!

Awesome video Katie! The Jack Rabbit looks like an incredibly fun coaster.
Thanks! Jack Rabbit is SO fun!!
Bobsleds is the second roller coaster with tubular steel track! It was built a few years after the Matterhorn Bobsleds at Disney World.
Very cool!
Can I see myself coming here one year? Yes.
Would it be anytime soon? Probably not until I get some more bigger parks out of the way first.

Maybe next time!
Gyrosphere still exists... FunTown/Splashtown in Maine (known as the AstroSphere). Still plays the original song, and has the spooky stuff lol.
If there was somewhere in New York that I would like to visit sometime it would be Coney Island.
I have been on the J
Whirlwind is a clone of undertow at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
I want to ride Jack Rabbit! How was it? 😮😊
